Arnold really does get into the psychology of the themes.
He articulates very well how he constructs his themes I only found this interview today whilst looking through Scala Radio past content.
@Murdock have you watched or listened to this interview?
Enjoy, its a great interview.

When James Bond Meets F1 (1:28)

I love his work and I was pining for him for a while when Newman came along, but I think Bond generally is in real need of some new creative blood. The Craig era did start to feel a bit samey and played out in some ways by the end, but I don’t agree with the sentiment on here that this means it’s time to go back to what they were doing before. I think it means it’s time for something new again.
There might be someone even better than Arnold out there, who knows. I’d really like the next one to feel like a whole new direction and I reckon they need as many fresh eyes on it as possible for that.
Yes, move on. I think I'd actually be disappointed if they persuaded him to do another. I'm not convinced he would: he has said that the lack of big film scores on his recent CV is not because he hasn't been asked.
And here's Arnold himself giving us an update on I Will Return from DAD :D
"I will return" returning for Bond 26 along with Arnold himself would be quite fun and very meta :p
He talks in detail about I Will Return and what it would’ve been about as a song including the lyrics.
As an American I could use a transcript to understand though. Second half easier to get.
I’ll see what I can do.

Wow! Not heard this before. Makes me wish he'd scored NTTD...
