    I think I saw that or words to that effect written in block letters on an entrance on a recent trip to Belfast. I may have misquoted it but I agree it doesn't sound quite right. A tautology as you say. However, I think there is something Bondian there which was why I shared it. It just needs reworking I think.

    Yes, it was just a phrase that struck me. I thought perhaps that someone here could fashion some sort of inverted title such as Live and Let Die or You Only Live Twice out of it. :)

    Thanks my guys @peter @SecretAgentMan⁰⁰⁷ super compliments! Initially I was trying to make some funny ones and made that up to go between the other two. It's like a rewrite of one from last year.

    I know License Renewed is the Gardner book, but it feels appropriate. Maybe License Reinstated?

    That could be fun. We meet Bond on the outs with everyone and he has to earn his way back into the 00 section. Everyone gets what they want: redemtion arc, new Bond learning a new MI6, but a grizzled man with experience.

    Not necessarily. You can have your driver's license renewed without getting it revoked.

    They could show him on the gun range, in his office, basically all those MR novel scenes.

    I don't think that's necessary, but if you wanted to start the movie off like the literary TMWTGG- Bond suddenly appears after being missing, he's brainwashed, and he tries to kill M- it could work.
