Good to have you back @ToTheRight
Always meant to ask you, what's the deal with OP/NSNA always ranked together? Is it you think they're equally good?

I enjoy them equally. It's really nostalgia, though, @Mathis1 . I became a Bond fan during the summer of 1983 having two new Bond movies released only months apart. I've never been the same since. :)

Fair enough! Personally I wouldn't put both of them on even scale. Think OP was far better, and I remember that year, loving Rogers movie, and being really let down by Sean's. I've come round to enjoying it now, but it still doesn't come close to OP!

I enjoy them equally as well, but OP is a better film, however seeing Connery again made for a better thrill, if that makes sense.

That pretty much sums it up for me.

After some shuffling around, mostly in the middle section of the ranking, I've decided to do a Bondathon starting from my bottom choice all the way up to my favourite.

    1. The Living Daylights (1987)
    2. Licence to Kill (1989)
    3. On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969)
    4. From Russia with Love (1963)
    5. GoldenEye (1995)
    6. For Your Eyes Only (1981)
    7. Thunderball (1965)
    8. The Man with the Golden Gun (1974)
    9. Casino Royale (2006)
    10. Spectre (2015)
    11. Octopussy (1983)
    12. Dr. No (1962)
    13. The World Is Not Enough (1999)
    14. Quantum of Solace (2008)
    15. A View to a Kill (1985)
    16. Diamonds Are Forever (1971)
    17. Goldfinger (1964)
    18. Moonraker (1979)
    19. The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)
    20. You Only Live Twice (1967)
    21. Die Another Day (2002)
    22. Never Say Never Again (1983)
    23. Tomorrow Never Dies (1997)
    24. No Time to Die (2021)
    25. Live and Let Die (1973)
    26. Casino Royale (1967)
    27. Skyfall (2012)

I wonder if it holds up. It probably won't. At least not entirely.

    Interesting, @GoldenGun !!!

I've never gone from last to first. That's a great exercise, testing perspectives. I think I may join you on this quest (perhaps closer to Christmas, so I have more time to plow through the EoN films (I find NSNA mildly entertaining, but think it's B-level quality, at best, and CR '67 is just too bizarre for me to add onto my rankings).

    Great idea!

    Thanks @peter :)

Still not quite sure if I'll be including CR67, though NSNA I usually include in Bondathons.

It's one I've watched countless times. I saw it 11 times in the cinema back in '89 and couldn't get enough of it on VHS.
