  God I love Timothy's honesty, he's so direct in an era were people are really polished, it's refreshing.
  
  I like that he still holds love for not only Bond, but Hot Fuzz and his small part in Toy Story 3 as well. What a guy

  I think Dalton is one of the best actors outside of Bond. Possibly the best. He is underrated, he has a great acting range.

  Having watched THE LION IN WINTER and THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS in recent weeks, I must say that EON Amazon may want to look for someone with Dalton's breath of acting experience for Bond #7. It was a pity that audiences at the time - specifically in the US - didn't really appreciate him (IMO).

There’s your answer: America didn’t really take to Dalton’s Bond, especially when there was so much press over Brosnan having been “robbed” because of REMINGTON STEELE, that the attitude towards Dalton was that he was only a second choice, a “placeholder” Bond.
  
  Internationally, Dalton fared a lot better. Brits seemed to have embraced him a lot better than us yanks.

  
  Yes, the US tabloids definitely spun the story as Brosnan getting screwed.
  
  This whole narrative of "Craig got a fair share but Brosnan didn't" and "by the way, it's all Barbara's fault" conveniently forgets: (1) Brosnan signed the Remington Steele contract and (2) Cubby, not Barbara, passed on Brosnan in 1986 because of (1).

  I remember that, I think it was extra little fingers. Like a Hemingway cat. When I got my drivers licence all those years ago, the female police officer who served me had two thumbs on one hand. Like a koala.
