I think I'd sooner see Ross cast than bring back Brossa!! 😂😂😂
Speaking of Jonathan Ross, when he did his excellent stint on the BBCs 'Film' programme, he did a memorable location report on 'CR'!

Yes that was good, great interview with DC on location too.

James Bond star rinsed for ‘terrible’ Irish accent in new crime series

    🤭

Pierce Brosnan was born in the wrong country. He should have been born in England because he's never sounded Irish. 😂

It's part of the fun of watching Brosnan onscreen. No one knows where his accent is going to go. And that's often all in the space of a single sentence.

I know exactly who he based that new accent on as well. A very odd choice, even if it was a pitch-perfect impression (which is only fleetingly is!).

He was so good in a small but important role in Black Bag. He has a very commanding presence, he could be M now.

He said that Guy Ritchie and him practically came up with it on set after months of him training with a different accent. Something I've heard about Guy. He has that wheeling-dealing style where you improv a lot on set the day of.

Mob land is excellent. Tom Hardy steals it as he does everything he is in but Pierce and Helen Mirren have great chemistry together. PB does good gangster.

I don't think I knew he did this, but here he is narrating Thomas and, in a new one for me, even attempting a Northern accent.

Pierce is also doing this Biblical animated picture with a lot of other big names like Oscar Isaac, Kenneth Branagh, Uma Thurman and Forest Whitaker

I always wondered why he left narrating Thomas. He had promise and potential narrating it. Although George Carlin and Ringo Starr will always be my favorite Thomas narrators. Two great examples of unpredictable casting choices that actually worked.

It does look interesting. Great casting, Mark Hamill should be an interesting villain.

I hadn’t heard this before - his northern accent is more convincing than his normal one!
