When I went to CR, I was very disappointed that they moved it. But I thought "it's because they're trying to be different, it'll be back for the next one" And then, QOS came out...
Enjoyed that very much indeed!
EDIT: But I stopped watching after a few minutes, just too spoiler heavy!
@xolani, how is it confirmed? Does someone say it? Are there any behind the scenes from that shooting?
Indeed, that was really, really great!
It seems more and more like the IMAX trailer is the upcoming trailer!
In Casino they gave us an origin with the Gunbarrel. It was genius in my opinion. At the end of Quantum he got closure with the Vesper story. So with Skyfall our hero will be the man we all used to know in the previous films before Casino!
It was a great idea which worked very well with the Bond Begins storyline! This is widely known I thought. :-)
Ok, I didn't think the film needed to be Bonds origin story to begin with, but: Why should Bond being a rookie stop us getting a proper gunbarrel.
Yeah I'm complaining because if it ain't broke, don't fix it. And the QOS one was terrible anyway, and in CR the barrel itself looked ugly.
Of course you can disagree with that story/idea, but it's not like they experimented with it. It was really part of the story. So the gunbarrel at that specific moment was a logical choice. :-)
I won't argue with you about the visual aspect of the gunbarrel. One likes it or not. I like both of them. :-)
Thanks so much for posting this! Absolutely loved it! There is some great dialogue in this movie! :-bd
I agree. This is looking more and more like a true classic. Hopefully it won't dissapoint. I think Sam Mendes is a better director than Martin Campbell. Sam has an Oscar. Martin directed The Green Lantern...
I've mentioned this over in the gun barrel thread - I just put on Sky Movies 007 and there was an Adele ad featuring the gun barrel we've seen behind the scenes stills/video of. It was simply craig walking, turning, shooting. Not to say it's not been cut but looked pretty classic to me.
Rude.
How do you know this? Has Arnold said he's being snubbed?
Well it says one use, and "bloody" is said multiple times in the film. At least in the script.
