Favourite Bond Roger Moore and Favourite film The Spy Who Loved Me? Delighted to have someone like minded on board!
Ciao, Ragazzo! Good to see someone from Italy out here. :D
Been a Bond fan as long as I can remember and Dr No is the movie that go me hooked and, as such, is my favourite movie because of that. As well as that it also mean that Sean Connery is my favourite Bond, although I do have a lot of love and respect for Sir Rog.
Only read a handful of the Fleming books with Live and Let Die my favourite so far.
Highly looking forward to Skyfall, my tickets are books for Friday so am counting down the days.
Anyway, I'll contribute as much nd as well as I can and look forward to meeting you all as time does by.........
I'm a Bond fan from Wisconsin in the U.S. My first Bond memories are of the Christmastime 007 marathons on cable TV here, with 'Tomorrow Never Dies' being the first I saw in a theater.
'From Russia With Love' is my favorite 007 movie, with 'Casino Royale' a close second. Connery is still my No. 1 Bond actor.
In honor of the 50th anniversary of the franchise, I am in the middle of a Bond movie-a- day marathon. And I can't wait to see 'Skyfall' in IMAX on November 8!
Thanks much! Glad to be here!
Now, I feel like I'm coming back home, where many of you guys made me laugh my guts out.
Well, I'm 50 years old now, I'm from Montréal, Canada. I've been a Bond fan since, of all movie, A View To A Kill, the first Bond flick I've seen in the theater. I've introduced Bond to my wife and kids, with some succes I might say. I'm really thankfull I can be back with you guys.
I look forward to the discussions with you!
Is this a clone of me living somewhere else on this Earth? About the same amount of time I've been a Bond fan, some of my favorite Bond films - GE is my favorite - and DAD was my first cinema Bond, and I saw QoS in theaters five times, which I, too, plan to beat with SF.
Welcome to the boards, me! In all seriousness, it's nice to have you on board, @Mallory, and I hope you dive into more of our conversations soon.
Perhaps an Academy Award for 'Longest film series to not win a major academy award'.
Haha, welcome aboard.
* I know the Bond series have won a few in the past, but none of the big ones, like screenplay, actor, etc.
Cubby once said it is exactly because of the actors differences as to why the series has survived back in 1987. Oh and Dalton rocked as Bond! My blood boils when people slag him off!:) In fact on a first date with any woman, I always check if she likes Dalton as Bond. If she does not, then I cross her off my list and start making my excuses for leaving early. I cannot be in a relationship like that!
Here's to us! ;)
I look forward to jumping right back in where i left off!
Thank you!
I am Greek, reading posts here many years now from time to time and love Bond
films and appreciate all Bond actors. First film in cinema was a view to a kill but Connery
is still my favorite and Goldfinger a classic. I hope Skyfall is as good as most
fans expect it to be or even better to continue for the years to come this beautiful
series.
I should really have joined this forum in 2007 at the peak of my Bond obsession, but with the release of the first one in 4 years it seemed appropriate to become a member. Seeing SF for the second time tomorrow as well, LONG LIVE BOND.
