The name's 25. Bond 25, or rather, it's NTTD.

@Benny Might it be an idea to shut this thread down until closer to the time?

Just seemed infested at the moment!

I quite agree. It takes a real amount of effort to come up with a Bond film title and nothing suggested so far seems to be even remotely likely to be close to what we will eventually get. It's a spammer's paradise.

We've all posted some that we actually put some thought into. Honestly, I don't see a problem with this thread. It's highly unlikely that we'll actually predict the title, and hey, this thread gives fanfic writers like me title ideas/options.

And I get ideas for my fan arts. The titles I posted will be used in my upcoming artwork that I will share on this forum to those who wish to see it.
  • From what I've learned from the past, it won't be called "Risico", "The Property of a Lady", "The Devil May Care", or any other popular name that's been thrown around the past ten years.

not nescarily people were "throwing around" Quantum of Solace and Casino Royale both of them got picked I know in 2007 I was a strong supporter of Quantum of Solace on imdb.com and felt that bond 22 was the best and only time they can use that title shame they used it in a poor way oh well Still loved the film just wished a bit more of the short story was included.

So yes Bond 24 could very well be Risico The Hildebrand Rarity of The property of a lady.
  • In my opinion, a Fleming title should go to a Fleming Bond-- and since Dalton never got the opportunity for Risico or Property of a Lady, then Craig is a worthy successor.

Risico or Property of a Lady gets my vote for Bond 24

Okay new idea for a title. Bond 24 is:

"Threadbo" - James Bond travels to Australia to investigate the events leading up to the 1997 Threadbo disaster...

So Bond is going to travel back in time, or appear in a movie set in 1997, to investigate a landslide in Thredbo.
You're coming up with some crazy, slightly offensive and downright absurd titles and storylines, that are likely to land you in trouble sooner rather than later.
Are you sure @Pierceuhhh and yourself aren't from the same place?

An investigation will take place for that one.

Well spotted, @Benny. Quite clearly these two members are basically one and the same person. Their 'unique' ideas only arouse more suspicion with every post they make. I for one support the investigation, will look into it with you and meanwhile keep track of every tasteless post they make. These ridiculous fan posters they keep turning in, often ostensibly offensive, are coming very close to violating our terms. @Pierceuhhh and @Christartos both face a permanent ban once the truth is uncovered.

Repeating myself I know but I think Property Of A Lady should've been used for QOS.

It doesn't really fit for me. I don't see Bond as property of Vesper or M, just blood loyal. I love the title though, make no mistake.

I think it fits. Even though Vesper died he wasn't over her betraying him. His life was still being controlled by her, he was still property of her, but by the end of the film he moves on from Vesper.

I think it fits better than QOS and sounds much better too.

Yeah, he is still haunted by her, so I can see that. Now I do agree.

That's exactly how I feel about it. The title would have worked quite well in place of QoS.

I still wouldn't replace it for anything though. I love titles that you need to have prior knowledge of to understand. Not great from a marketing standpoint, but a great wink for the fans. Much like if you ran into someone with a Zorin Industries shirt. Nobody around could guess what it was from and would go about their day as if it was nothing, but by just sharing a wink with the person wearing the shirt you communicate that a fellow Bond lover is near. THAT is special.

But think about it. If 2008's was 'The Property of A Lady' but still basically what Quantum was, then in 2014 when the new title is Quantum of Solace people wouldn't have been so confused because the organization would have already been introduced.

But I'm not complaining. Property Of A Lady sets up a female head of Quantum perfectly.

Ok just brainstorming here guys. Sorry I mean no offence I just have a lot of fresh ideas..

New idea: what if Daniel Craig as Bond investigates the financial cliff we are facing t the moment? Bond needs to come up with a plan to deal with it like cutting Super entitlements, removing GST off fresh fruit and veg or creating 20000 apprentices over 5 years (4000 per year avg.) .

It could take place in either UK (like the books) or America (take a new direction).

Any title suugestion you guys have I would appreciate. I am already writing a fanfic on this but as yet no really good ideas for a title. I have brainstormed a few:

    High Price4Wealth

Birth of The Brain (the villain is called The Brain)

    Fishmitor

    Help Nut

Young Bond Hooray The Murder House

    Jingle Bells

    The Sword

    India Adventure

    The Space Portal

    Sea Mystery

    Jungle Clan

    Die if you Plesase

Bond and Time (Parts 1 and 2)

    Jungle Tresa Rea

    Game of Bond

    By Croocks

    The Peal Intrudor

    Bond Copes With Survival

    Train Trouble

    The Shunnd Ship

    Jungle Joke

Death Never Waits (for anyone) (a cliched Bond title, but decent IMO)

Operative in the Shadows (inspired by M's conversation with Bond regarding Elektra: "A Shadow Operation?")

Intel for Sanctuary (inspired by M's conversation with Bond regarding Le Chiffre: "We'll give him sanctuary in return for everything he knows.")

Listen to the man, he knows what he's talking about. This thread is just degenerating into nonsense with some recent responses and trolls, if you will, are going to have a field day on this issue, if not, as suspected, some already have made their presence known. I still maintain the best way forward is to go ahead with what was suggested back in the fourth post now, on this, and keep talk restricted to "Bond 24 Wish List"

I feel I'm not the only getting a little irritated by this thread now. Ok, it may be a bit of fun to some, but we can't all share that thinking. I do feel however, sooner or later, the inevitable will occur, on which, I don't need to elaborate

If a thread gets closed because of a few trolls, then the troll wins. That is unfair to those of us here who have serious suggestions, like myself. Ignore their comments, flag and move on.
  • But you can't ignore the fact that what started out as a innocent enough (if duplicate) thread, with some good natured and fair minded responses, has taken a wrong turn recently, with some silly and absurd suggestions, as some recent posts have demonstrated. Worth pointing out also, they're very new participants for the most part

I appreciate those who give fair and serious responses, but once again, just have been getting a little irritated lately. No sense in lying

Just watched Casino Royale again and liked the part where the guy goes "LISTEN TO ME" to James Bond. New title perhaps? ????? "Listen to Me".
