Main title track is OHMSS but a song I'd say either YOLT (title theme and score are sublime) or DAF, quite ironic considering I don't have much time for Connery's 5th film any more and as for his 6th I can't stand it although Bassey's song and Barry's score and phenomenal.
  • Live and let die, by the ONE and Only PAUL McCartney ( and Wings)
    WW The Beatles!!
  • I Saw Paul McCartney in Concert last year and he 've played Live and let die , so beautifull.

You Know My Name, hands down. One of the best songs ever made!

This. Cornell just nailed what a gritty modern day Bond song should be. Then White and Keys came along and f**ked it up royally.

Title Song: You Only Live Twice
Best all round score throughout a film is OHMSS. That is Barry's masterwork for me.
Honorable Mention: that slow 007 theme from FYEO when they go down in the sub.
  • Goldfinger.
  • If I have to pick only one, it would be Goldeneye by Tina Turner. It's the only Tina Turner song I like.

If I could choose "On Her Majesty's Secret Service Main Theme" I'll pick it. But as for song I'll say "A View to a Kill", closely followed by "You Only Live Twice", "Skyfall", "You Know my Name" and "Goldfinger".

Picking just one, I'll go with "You Only Live Twice" by Nancy Sinatra. Though I regard the film as a mixed bag, YOLT's music may well be the best in the series.
  • If I can only choose one I have to go with 'Goldfinger.' It laid the foundation for all the great songs that would follow in the coming decades.

Ok, I'm beginning to accept Cornell's song. The song is decent, but I chalk that up to David Arnold mostly. It does have energy. I still have no clue why the f*** they picked Chris Cornell in the first place. He was a grunge singer in the 90's, a good decade past his prime, and also a grunge singer from Seattle. He has no relevance to Bond. I prefer they go with British musicians, or singers in the style of Bassey. I remember scratching my head in the theatres in 2006 - Chris Cornell??? Why don't they just get Pearl Jam or the Spin Doctors...What the hell were they thinking. But I admit, the song actually kind of works.

My favorite is the song that Bond is usually identified by:

    "Nobody Does It Better".

The fact that this song lost the Oscar to Debbie Boone's "Light Up My Life" will always be a miscarriage of justice.

Despite The Spy Who Loved Me being my fave movie, my favourite title song is For Your Eyes Only :)

View to a Kill as I,m a huge Duran Duran fan. Purely as a Bond fan though it has to be Goldfinger closely followed by Skyfall.
  • So many wonderful songs! Given my chosen handle, "Live and Let Die" is an obvious choice, one that continues to get airplay on a variety of radio stations even today..."Goldfinger" is probably the most iconic Bond theme of them all, and another fine selection...but truth to be told, I need to give the nod to "You Only Live Twice" despite Nancy Sinatra's less-than-inspired performance. The falling and rising instrumental line, the vaguely oriental-sounding counter-melody...truly an inspired composition, and probably my favorite if I absolutely have to select one and only one title song. Honorable mentions to "Nobody Does It Better," "You Know My Name," "The Living Daylights" and "Skyfall." Is it just my imagination, or has nobody yet mentioned "The Man With The Golden Gun"? Probably a pretty good reason for that...

Favourite Bond song, and I will be disciplined and not include any of the many worthy honorable mentions.

Drum Roll: It's slam dunk, Shirley Bassey's epic Goldfinger.

    I actually fell asleep..

Can only say as before, Live and Let Die would be favorite, and then it's a chase for second place with You Only Live Twice, Tomorrow Never Dies, Golden Gun and Casino Royale. There's more theme intros I could name I genuinely dislike rather than give plaudits to
