    More Cinemagraphs!

I think moving posters on the walls will be the next fad...
    Once it's "easily" produced.

Right now you can get one of those photo viewers to hang on your wall and post a Cinemagraph to freak people out. Would love to do that! HA

Here's my first attempt, I can see this becoming quite addictive.

  • Doe you have to rip the entire film to your hard drive before you can do this?

Unfortunately, yes, unless you have the clip you need.

I just ran across this link, people calling them "rolling gifs" I also seen another term the other day but I forgot it already. Anywho, check out this link. Pretty neat stuff here. (Not Bond pics, but the same/similar effect as a cinemagraph) http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/entrance-yourself-with-rrrrrrrrolling-gifs

WOW. This is great. Not Bond, but this style could certainly be used for it.

I just threw this one together. I'll see if I can polish it up a little better later tonight.

Goodness this one is amazing. If only we could get these to be digital frames for our walls.

Just stumbled across this site. Some of the cinemagraphs posted above (such as the Casino Royale train) are ones I have made. I have 18 Bond cinemagraphs in total, so should I just post them all here in one? Here are my favourites,

    Hello,

Do you use a professional software for that, or a software as Photoshop and lots of skills ? I toyed with Microsoft free tools for it, it's limited but incredibly easy, but the resolution of the output is too bad alas (see a few above, done really in a few minutes once you understand, but I simply can't do better with the free tools)

I've learned a new word today - "cinemagraph"!

Thankyou all! @Suivez_ce_parachute I use Photoshop for all of these as it lets you control the quality you export it out at. Are you using Microsoft Research Cliplets? I've used it before but the export quality is usually poor. I made this guide a while back that explains how it's done.
I will post all my bond ones together this evening when I get home. Meanwhile I have a site here where I post most of the cinemagraphs I make, quite a few of them are Bond ones too.

Yes, we'd really love to see all of your 18 cinemagraphs, @eatrob! Keep up the good work! :)

I'll put them all here now. Turns out there are 23, not 18. If some of them don't look like they are moving, they have probably ran out of bandwidth so right click it and open it in a new tab.

    Okay here we go,

  • @eatrob I read your reddit posts, but just to be sure : once I have Photoshop, I don't need to buy any more plugins to (try to) do this ?

That one of Bond in Venice with Vesper's body is simply breathtaking.

@Suivez_ce_parachute It would need to be the extended edition of Photoshop for it to support video imports, but other than that there are no other plugins needed

oh my. I'm seeing some wonderful pieces! Thank yo so much for posting.

I would really love to see how everyone is creating their own, as there are several complex and (some what) easy ways to do this.
