Goldeneye with Charles Dance as Fleming.

Ok, so... Where can I watch it online? Or can I buy it somewhere? I've always ached for it to come out in dvd, along with James Bond Jr. I know it's a silly cartoon, but I'd love to check them out.

    It was available on DVD from the Daily Mail here in the UK in 2007. You should be able to buy copies on eBay or somewhere. I got my copy of the film at the time.

    Yes, it is. The script for this Anglia TV film from 1989 was taken from John Pearson's biography of Ian Fleming.

    I never bothered to finish watching the flick. I should probably do that one day. It wasn't too bad or anything like that. It was on youtube the last time I checked.

    You need a Region-Free DVD/Blu-Ray Player then, good @007InVT!

    Funny, I always thought the same thing, after seeing him in Starter for 10. About him as M, I mean.

    Well it was based on John Pearson's biography of Ian Fleming, so yes, that accounts for its accuracy. It stands apart from the rest of the biographies, though Bondmaker (2005) is very good too.

    Charles Dance made an appearance in For Your Eyes Only, didn't he? He played Claus, but I can't remember offhand who Claus was.

    Correct, and John Glen complained that he couldn't hold a gun straight. Wonder what ever happened to that little known actor...?

    I would say no, the script and actors may be fine, but it looks dreadful, and that drags it down ever so much.

    I really enjoyed Bondmaker. I thought it was a brilliant illustration of the creative process.

    Busy with Game of Thrones nowadays. Back in 2008, Charles Dance was one of my first choices to play M.

    Well, in its defence it was made for TV so there was no film budget to draw on.
