Oberhauser IS Blofeld, and he (or his associates) had killed Bond's parents, and he and Bond are step brothers or some such nonsense. Ironically this was already made fun of in the third Austin Powers movie.
SPECTRE turns out to be a mole organization withing MI6, which would be ripping off Captain America 2. Then again, Skyfall kinda ripped off The Dark Knight, with the villian letting himself get captured, etc., so anything's possible (although to be fair, Dark Knight Rises totally ripped off TWINE).
PS: Wun-der-ful free marketing for "SPECTRE" :-P
By the way, here's a nice little article for the "green" young Bond fans about S.P.E.C.T.R.E. and Ernst Stavro Blofeld. Written by David Leigh: http://www.mi6-hq.com/sections/articles/opinion-spectre-speculation-david-leigh-blofeld-oberhauser?t=&s=&id=03815
I'm really not worried about it @Murdock :-). These scetches are funny, witty anddddd they, how weird it may sound, give "SPECTRE" some free viral marketing :-). The longer I think about it, it actually could profit "The Interview" as well. Especially since Sony now starts making new plans for a new premiere early 2015. Just imagine how many people suddenly would love to see this film.
I also fully trust that SPECTRE and Blofeld won't be made into a laughable act in "SPECTRE". "Re-inventing the wheel" has been the core motto for Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson since "Casino Royale".
By the way, I heard "Kingsman: The Secret Service" will also fully tap into old, more cheesy Bond films, like "YOLT" :-). There's a wunderful bit of talk between Colin and Samuel L. Jackson in Samuel's evil lair, that fully addresses the cheesy fun of past Bond film. It can only help "SPECTRE" I guess ;-).
Come onnn, you're going to pass "Kingsman"??
I think.....it'll be a big success, and moreover, a really great bit of entertainment! I think, it's a wunderful gesture, a wunderful appreciation of the -early- Bond films, not the newest Bond films.
Perhaps but it doesn't tickle my fancy any. I'll probably watch it when the DVD comes out but I don't feel the need to see it in the cinema. Badmouthing Bond only leads to trouble in my book. Which is why I have avoided the Bourne movies.
Let me see if I can get you in the cinema with this one @Murdock ;-). Because I'm gonna see it for sure.
I wouldn't recommend that. I have my own Hidden Truth people should worry about. >:)
By jolly! Please let my testicles stay alive 8-X
TDK ripped off Nikita Season 2. Kinkade whas already a bit strange. Where iam afraid for be that Kinkade know the truth about his parents death and that Bond and we live in a illusions there not be murder as we get reference in The Living Daylights. In that case there can better have named the movie: ''A Dream I lived By''.
Well, luckily we have 2015, which can be titled "The Ultimate Spy Year". Suddenly, movies like "M:I 5", "Kingsman: The Secret Service" and "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." get accused of copying Bond....Mr James Bond 007 ;-). Because in a "Spy Year", Bond is always the biggest, the BEST :-).
Now I have been thinking why Mexico is included in the story/plot of the 24th Bond film "SPECTRE". As there have been already quite a lot of border conflicts between Mexico and the USA, this could perhaps be the reason to re-introduce SPECTRE's cover organization in Mexico no :-)?
Does this make it likely Mexico will show up quite early in the film?
you shoulkd repost that in the Bond 25 fan art section it is absolutly gorgous thought perhaps a more realidstic title (since they will never reuse titles) is Zero Minus
That's the main square in México City indeed. Of that's the case, then I'm still surprised no information about the nature of the (PTS)-scenes haven't been leaked yet. If only Zucola Square is in the PTS, then I have a feeling this could be a rather "quiet", action-less PTS.
One that is similar to the ones in FRWL, TB, LALD and CR. Perhaps it includes the lair of S.P.E.C.T.R.E. and it could include the assassination of Mr White by 007.
In the novel it was something different, a charity who tried to localize ancient Résistance fighters during WWII, I believe.
I wouldn't call what's happened on the US southern border a "conflict" per se, but I like the brotherhood idea. Also the Mexican cartels are some of the richest and most evil criminal organizations in the world (see their kidnapping and killing of 43 students) if they were tied in with SPECTRE that's be great.
Or worse/better: afraid of SPECTRE.
