Has James Bond ever been referenced/mentioned in your place of worship?

Another "Does what it says on the tin" type of a thread here.

I've been wondering about this question of late so I just had to put it before my fellow agents here on MI6 Community. :)

In the past I have written about how a minister in a Christian church gave a sermon on the evils of Ian Fleming's James Bond novels and Fleming's response to this:

I'd love to hear your stories on this admittedly rather niche topic as I would quite like to return to writing about it at some point.

Of my own experiences (I am a Christian and attend a Protestant church) I can only recall one mention of James Bond by a guest preacher who likened the famous Nazi hunter Simon Wiesenthal (1908-2005) to being "a Jewish James Bond." My mother told me of a more recent popular culture reference to the film Fifty Shades of Grey which our minister spoke about in withering terms. Sadly, due to work commitments I was unable to hear that sermon.

As always, I'd love to hear your stories of sermons/mentions on James Bond in your place of worship.

    I'm a Christian too and my pastor references James Bond as the only person in the world who lives twice and that tge rest of us only live once and so we have to make our lives count for something and not squander it.

    This is not to be taken personally, but sometimes I am amused by the myriad of angles we try for on this discussion site--my own included.

    So here's a few ideas we haven't kicked around.

    1-Have you ever come across a fortune cookie mentioning Bond?
    2-Other cologne, what other Bond products have you come across?
    3-How many non-film songs mention Bond?
    4-Do you know of any watercraft named for something from Bond?
    5-Have you seen Bond or a character names written on undies?
    6-Is Bond mentioned in any poetry?
    7-Have you seen a menu featuring something about Bond?
    8-In what context was Bond mentioned in a school or university lecture?
    9-Any ski slopes named for something Bondish?
    10-What is the most unusual context you heard something about Bond?

    Richard Kiel actually had a ministry. He spoke at a local church sharing his testimony recovering from alcoholism and landing the Jaws gig. I was late but got to hear the last of the presentation.

    Since this thread apparently took a completely different route from the OP's topic, I'll ask this: does anybody consider (or has considered in some occasions) Bond some kind of mentor? For example, I learnt how to deal with life mostly from Bond novels, like the subtle difference between good and evil, not to trust everyone, and so many times I find myself thinking "What would Bond do?".

    This may be corny but to answer your question @Dragonpol . . . Since we were both going to Goldeneye for the honeymoon, we chose to have some actor friends to do some readings in the Anglican church: one from Casino Royale, the other from On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Apart from Bond's name being mentioned in the building, it was a pretty traditional ceremony. Later, the first dance was We Have all the Time in the World.

    Thanks ..but there's not much more to tell. He was soft spoken ...went through his history and how he found Christ through AA. When he started to sober up he got the part of Jaws. I don't really remember too much beyond that.

    The place was packed and I was so far back all I could do is just hear Mr. Kiel. This I think was in the early 90s pre-GoldenEye.

    Sorry that's all I remember.. oh and this was in Beaumont Texas.

    We also had George Lazenby about two years hosting a pageant, but umm I missed that.
