When we look back on his run, he will definitely seem younger in CR compared to when he signs off due to the change in build, and that will help to add credibility to his youth and rookie status in the first film.
Photo 3: can't he wear whatever he wants when not on set? He plays James Bond that doesn't mean he's James Bond. His acting skills are what matters not his personal tastes. Beside I studied acting and spent a lot of time hanging out with actors. They mostly dress sloppy.
This is from the German premiere of CR. There really isn't much difference other than a bit of weight loss and change in hairstyle. The eyelid and spots on his forehead are still there.
Do you think Daniel Craig will use it in SPECTRE ?
No Dan and Sam refused to use a Sony phone to their bemusement. Arguing Bond would use the best and Sony is not the best in mobile phones. In sony leaked emails.
I agree, great look for both of them.
Not exactly sure what he wears under the jacket, is it a polo shirt or a regular one?
That's a good question. The collar area looks pretty low cut in the front to be a polo, but it could just be the angle we're seeing at.
No they didn't. There were some mail exchanges, and press as usual only reported the "scoop" ones. He will use it
Sony Stopped making Vaio's over a year ago after they left the laptop market. The emails showed that they were willing to pay Daniel a couple of million just to be seen to be holding the phone, Mendes/Craig declined saying no because Bond would not use a Sony phone he would use the best. Sony then sent a cheeky email saying lets not use Dan and asked if Q could be seen using their phone in the film for a lesser amount of money. Apparently this blew up in to a big argument at the time.
Leaked emails from last year’s Sony hack reveal that the company was dealt a crushing blow from Andrew Gumpert, President of Worldwide Business Affairs and Operations for Columbia Pictures.
He wrote: ”BEYOND the $$ factor, there is, as you may know, a CREATIVE factor whereby Sam and Daniel don’t like the Sony phone for the film (the thinking, subjectively/objectively is that James Bond only uses the ‘best,’ and in their minds, the Sony phone is not the ‘best’).’
An email from George Leon, Sony’s executive vice president of consumer marketing, reveal that Craig, director Sam Mendes and producer Barbara Broccoli met to talk about the deal which have included $18 million for marketing while an extra $5 million would have gone to Craig.
movie bosses negotiating a new deal for the next Bond film tried to cut the actor out to save cash, writing “NO Daniel this time”.
It led to Bond producer Barbara Broccoli wanting an “additional placement fee” from Sony “for putting the phone in”, marketing boss George Leon wrote to Sony Pictures co-chairman Amy Pascal in an email.
After detailing how much Sony paid for their phone to appear in Skyfall and how much was budgeted for Spectre.
He added: “What if we take the Daniel Craig fee and convince Sony just to pay Barbara directly [£2.7million] for a placement fee. NO Daniel this time. We walk from him.”
Leon then suggests using the remainder of the budget – “or less!” – to use the film’s character Q in the deal instead.

Very much so, very cut throat business. People being nice to your face and all the while stabbing you in the back.
Anyway, with the new poster of Bond in his dinner suit, wanted to look at the dinner suits of his era thus far and see which looks best...
Casino Royale (Costume Designer: Lindy Hemming Brand: Brioni):
Quantum of Solace (Costume Designer: Louise Frogley, Brand: Tom Ford)
Skyfall & Spectre (Costume Designer: Jany Temime, Brand: Tom Ford)
you're in denial, Craig looks aged and in some photos downright awful.
We'll have to see the movie to make the final judgement.
True, he is not photogenic OR he gets to work with photographer's that are not really good.
That's why I said we have to wait for the movie.
But be it as it may, he has aged as you said, if one sees that as good aging or not so good aging is a matter of opinion.
I found him to have aged badly in Skyfall, but as many have stated that was intentional for the movie, which I don't really believe but I accept it.
