Here it is! The new 2nd full poster, US One Sheet:

Correction - this is the generic English theatrical poster. The US poster will have November 6, the UK will have October 26 and so on...
  • Absolutely awesome!
  • i like how connery this poster is! connery in DAF is what comes to mind. not loving it ... but like it very much. however, not a poster I would put on my wall. i have original MR and OHMSS posters on my wall, they are a beauty to behold!

I've got a window cling from the DVD release of Casino Royale that I grabbed from when I worked at Rogers Video that I'd love to put up on my wall somewhere... the problem is, it's ENORMOUS. :(

Bond was in a white dinner jacket in AVTAK just an FYI

Not on an official poster. Actually, there's one poster, this one:
    viewmay12.jpg

But that one has been recalled at the last minute and officially was never used as publicity material.

  • I don't like the new poster. As mentioned before, it looks like fan-art ( at first I thought it was )The giant head on the background: very distracting. Not a great composition.

Next time it be nice if you at source with new poster of any other thing. Source of poster is 007.com, so it real. a bit of shame the poster spoil two things. First of all that Fienes be credit as M. Better to keep that til the movie. Second thing is mabey that Picture behind DC of course. But i think it mabey look better without DC craig in front.

The comingsoon version is general aka international poster not USA like somebody ele's said. In other words, if going to be avaible then this version is one i whant. Another note: It is poster 3 not 2. The bit strange poster with DC as some kind of model is poster 2. Poster 1 with logo/teaser poster and that one wil be used for Soundtrack and BD/DVD release i think. For Skyfall poster 2 (Bluetux) there use for streets and whas avaible in the stores. But i think it be better to use this time this third poster for streets and also make avaible as posters for stores besides poster 1. I whas very disapointed poster 1 of Skyfall whas not avaible.

Craig looks good but beyond that its bleu. Same thing with Skyfall's poster.
It looks more like a book cover.
CR's posters were great. Oh well.

    The poster is bloody fantastic.
It's very sixties and the colours are brilliant.
The white tux is simply great and it is an homage to Connery.
    A real eye catcher.

This is by far the best poster in the Craig era. I can't wait to get the similar treatment for the character posters, if they do, I buy them all and will put them on the wall in the foyer of my house.

Take a look at this: They should do the character posters in different colours, it'll be amazing.

Lol ...and I like it too.

  • Those Goldfinger posters are great. I've never seen those before. It's funny that the pre-credit chick who gets slugged (the same one frolicking with Kerim Bey in FRWL) gets her own poster instead of Tilly Masterson.

    It's underwhelming.
This is by far the best poster in the Craig era.

After seeing that poster I thought the forum would go berserk of excitement over its fabulousness...just goes to show you never know ;)

The poster is bloody fantastic, lightyears better than anything we got so far in the Craig-era.
They finally got their act together and have a decent campaign.

The poster is only one more thing that suggests the movie is an homage to the 60's James Bond movies, this was worked out in great detail, Tom Ford as clothes designer (another stroke of genius), the OHMSS theme in the trailer, some still photographs of Spectre could be taken out of Caprice or North By Northwest (59) or other 60's cult classics.

The background colour with the haunting skull image is brilliant as a contrast to James Bond in the white tux striking a pose that says, hey look at me, I'm the Connery of my generation!
While simplistic it gets the message across within a second. Furthermore this poster is a true eye-catcher! It will stick out everywhere it gets shown.

For the first time in the Craig era, I have the feeling they finally know what they're doing and maybe Spectre will be that truly great film that can actually be compared to the Connery movies and even surpass them.

The focal point of the white-tux poster is unforgivably unfortunate. We are not on eye level with Bond, but on belly-button level. As someone said above, for whatever reasons, emphasis is on the pelvis here. It's the point of view of someone rather small (Nic Nac?). His hair blends with the background and therefore is rather nonexistent.

The teaser poster was much better executed. We look Bond in the eyes and his chest is in the center of the frame, and his face is less "fleshy" than in the white-tux one.

Jason, why do you think it's better than the CR teaser poster? I believe if we took a poll that'd win best poster of the Craig era.

They probably spent all of the money making the film so they had to cut corners somewhere. Better in the poster than on the film.

I have to quote myself to make my point.
    Think of it people.
That poster may very well be the final poster for the movie AND the first of a row of character posters!
It makes perfect sense and look again at those Goldfinger posters. They surely were influenced by them.

Once the first or all character posters for Spectre have been released I'm sure opinion will change for the new Spectre poster.

You fail to explain why that's good, though. The only thing I'm getting from you is that, 'they look like something else'. So what?
