Interviews with Dave Bautista, Léa Seydoux and Christoph Waltz by ComingSoon.net.

This is probably the most I've heard Christoph talk about his character, thus far.

    Nice interviews there.

@aaron819 thanks for the vids. Hearing Bautista talking about how he and Daniel spent ages rehearsing the fight stunts and saying it's going to be the best fight scenes of all the Bond movies is getting me insanely pumped! I really hope Bautista, Craig and Olivier Schneider took the fights to a whole new level.

Mr Hinx will be one of the selling points of this film. Classic henchman, no doubt.

    Has this article been referenced...

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/luxury/property-and-architecture/84296/modern-marrakech.html

Mentions a building to be used in SP. Read the article for details - don't want anything spoilt for people.

    Looking at it...
it tallies with the scenes of Oberhauser, 'Why did you come?'. Similar style of architecture and palette. When they say mountaintop they presumably mean crater.

That is one beautiful house. I visited Marrakesh in the 80s and saw a lot of great old houses, but nothing like that. Very modern and yet it looks good.

What do you think about this article?

Daniel Craig 'signs up for TWO more James Bond movies' after SPECTRE:

    http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/daniel-craig-signs-up-two-6571986

WETHER IT'S TRUE OR NOT I SURE AS HELL MADE MY DAY :D

The article never mentioned anything about Craig signing up for two other than Baustista saying the man didn't sound like leaving the role anytime soon. Got to love articles that only put clickbait headlines and spread rumours.

We know that Craig has an open contract and solidly has one more film under his belt. That's certain. Other than that, no one publicly stated what the future held.

Lea states one of her next films (which she can't talk about) will film in France, but is not a French film. Could this have any relation to Bond 25?

no it will be 'It's Only the End of the World' or 'Juste la Fin du Monde' with Award-winning Canadian director Xavier Dolan on French Award-winning director and writer Jean-Luc Lagarce. Movie centers around Louis who goes home after a 12 year absence to announce his impending death to his family due to illness and we're gonna assume Aids because Lagarce died of Aids in real life. The cast includes Marion Cotillard, Vincent Cassel, Nathalie Baye and Gaspard Ulliel and scheduled for a 2016 release and presumably for the Cannes Film Festival

You know? I think Christoph Waltz gets stuck in his portrayal as Oberhauser. Man....he's scary to do interviews with. Especially when it's about "SPECTRE" 8-X .

Dave Bautista however...man, being a farmboy myself.......I'm already a big fan of him! As down-to-Earth as the late Richard Kiel. Lovely guy :-).

    @Gustav_Graves

I couldn't agree more. Waltz is quite scary, but I love him as an actor. So far I have seen three movies with him (Django, Inglorious Basterds, Carnage) and he owned every scene he was in. What is more, here's proof that the man does have a sense of humour:

I'd love to hang out and chug a few beers with Bautista, he's that nice!
  • Waltz seems like a great guy usually - gentlemanly and lovable. In these interviews, though, he comes off as a bit standoffish - and I *think* it's because he's tense about the fact that he's constantly being asked the same questions, and can't answer any of them. I'd probably be tense too!

Question about reviews for those who remember the timing of the early reviews for SF or know what could be happening now with SP screenings. I remember reviews started coming out for SF weeks before it opened. Obviously the film opened later in NA, but I think I remember the reviews started appearing even before the British opening. With SP opening in London in just 3 weeks, I would think EON has already started screening the film for friendly and/or major reviewers. The earlier the screenings, usually the more confident the studio is. The later the screenings, the less confident.

Studios usually embargo reviews, but I seem to remember SF's reviews started coming out very early, no doubt because they knew they were very positive and Sony and EON removed the review embargo to help hype the film. Studios often allow friendly reviewers who get an early look, to release a positive phrase or sentence early. All kinds of games go on with this stuff. The embargoes on all the early interviews are now lifting as they are getting published, but the timing of reviews are a much more serious issue. Anybody know what is happening with SP and the reviewers?
