Probably. Suppose it fits her character and her own battle to beat her male colleagues and superiors.

I think she was genuinely chuffed by his comments about accountants running MI6 these days, and then he gave her that sly slightly-sexist quip to top if off and make it better.

I don't think she was genuinely offended, just probably not a good impression.

In SP in Q's workshop there's more than just the Aston Martin DB5 in the background, is there not? It looks as though the car from QOS is there as well. Has anybody spotted this?

Yes, there's a DBS as well. Noticed it in the trailer already. You can see it behind Q.

I'm not the only one who thinks it is:
"Plenty of interesting things are going on in the background as Bond asks Q to make him disappear. Notice what appears to be the Aston Martin DBS behind Bond to his left, a car that hasn’t been seen since Quantum of Solace. Some have already postulated that the car partially hidden behind Q appears to be the Aston Martin DB5 (AKA Bond’s most iconic vehicle, and the car destroyed by Silva in Skyfall), but it’s concealed to the extent that one cannot be certain."

This is the second glance we get, where the DBS is left behind Bond.

No. There are a DB9, a DB5 and a V12 Vantage in the Q lab, but no DBS.

I was watching DAD the other day, and noticed this exchange between Zao and Bond righ after the credit sequence: 'Your time will come.', 'Not as soon as yours.' Now, while Zao dies and Bond didn't, I realised the line was a little bit prophetic, as the movie jumped the shark a long time before Zao died. The franchise arrived at a dead end before Zao died, so he was right!

If you ask me the DB9 has the wings more smoothly connected to the hood then the DBS, and that's what I don't see. So it should be a DBS. Makes no sense either as there never was a DB9 in any previous Bond-film. There is no Vantage either, unless you refer to the DB10. Which is a DB10.

Just noticed something on my "Bond 50" blu-ray set. Quantum of Solace is the only film not to feature a Menu like this one.
    dissapointing

That's what happens when most of the world marks the film with a Scarlet letter. It's an undeserved shame, I know.

This was discussed a while back on another thread, but Tom So, who played Mr. Fukutu in CR, has a brother, Clem So, who appeared in SF at the floating dragon casino. He's actually a member of this forum.

Also, there appears to be another cameo from either of the two in Spectre (in the teaser trailer as Bond looks over at the Spectre meeting, we see the back of the head of a grey-haired man with a ponytail).

That kind of cameo doesn't bug me. I'm talking about celebrity cameos that are basically shouting, "Let me interrupt your involvement in the film so that you can notice and look at me!"

Well then be grateful that they missed the fact that Elvis was playing in the hotel during the filming of DAF. I understand his manager refused permission for Elvis or his image to appear in the film. The Hotel that doubled for the Whyte House was actually the International Hotel, where EP played regularly in the 1970's. The stage that Shady Tree performs on looks the same as the stage EP performs on in the documentary film made there the previous year.

Speaking of the main menu for QoS, I really love it. I enjoy the track from the Tosca scene in the background.

Its different, which is good. But it was very lazy and wierd not to make a regular new one like the others for the Bond 50 release...

It's taken me until now to realise that the spiral image on the side of Camille's gold Ford Ka is the Greene Planet logo. I thought it was just a random pattern.

One thing more i discovered on the Bond 50 blu-ray set is that, The world is not enough is the only bond film not accompanied by a picture of the main bond girl from the film. (the one he ends up sleeping with in the end). Instead there is a picture of Elektra King

Yup, I love the boxset, but there are a few things that have always irked me-
-As mentioned above, using an image of Aki and Elektra instead of Kissy and Christmas, respectively.
-The horrible air-brushed image of Auric Goldfinger
-Using a promotional still on the Thunderball page (the picture of Largo addressing the spearmen that is not actually in the film).

Lol i always thought that was Kissy, never looked close enough on the picture :))

Really? Next time I watch LTK I'll have to investigate that. Whenever Carey is on the screen my eyes divert directly to her legs, and nowhere else.

And all that pales in comparison to how I act when I watch Eva in CR. There's a reason why I choose to watch that one when nobody is home, as not only am I undressing her with my eyes at least 10 times for every twenty seconds she's on screen, I also shout at the top of my lungs several proposals of marriage and then, when her Venice death scene arrives, I grow tearful and throw her an impromptu wake-complete with roses and a eulogy-as Bond fights Gettler and his boys. It's unbelievably exhausting, all have you know!
