I'll add to my tally from before (not really favourites, but I liked them nonetheless):

    1. Bond driving the Aston through Rome before going to the funeral
    2. the funeral itself along with Newman's score at this part. Chilling.....especially the slight turn of Blofeld's head, realizing Bond is behind him, and the back and forth with Lucia
    3. the Rolls coming to pick up Bond/Swann in Morocco. Total Bond moment.

    1. Mexico - the only real inventive thing they did in this film
    2. LAmericaine - the only time the film slowed down to breathe and it was welcome. A nice moment that they should have done more with.
    3. Sciarra funeral - the way Bond talks to Lucia, and her reaction. This is when I knew we were getting a real Bond film this time, finally...

Are these really....your favourite scenes? I still think the PTS from "Skyfall" is better. Perhaps it was a bit longer, but I think the 'chase aspect' worked a bit better. And it felt more serious/thrilling once Patrice fired his insanely loaded automatic gun (overall I thought that worked so well....all the real-life terrorist attacks gave a very gripping feel to "Skyfall").

The "SPECTRE" PTS for me is a close 2nd, then the PTS from "Casino Royale", and then the PTS from "Quantum Of Solace".

For me the entire Morocco sequence (l'Americaine, train, Blofeld's lair) was one of my favourite bits. IMO also the most inventive re-imagination of a classic "lair sequence", reminiscent of "Doctor No".

I agree that the SF PTS had much more oomph, but I think the SP one had some real Bond bravado which I preferred. The way he takes his hat off and checks out the girl before leaving the hotel.....the casual walk over the rooftop and the drop from the building into the couch etc.. Very inventive. It's close between them though.....real close. Both highlights (action wise) from the respective films.

L'Americain is definitely a highlight for me too (it slowed down nicely here and I liked the change of pace and exchanges with Swan......it sort of reminded me of the sinkhole wtih Camille in QoS).

Blofeld's lair I'm neither here nor there. I liked parts of it, but it seemed a bit derivative of DN (I guess that's what they were going for though as you note) with the meteor/fishtank analogy and the separate rooms etc. Plus I didn't like the ridiculously quick end to that section......but the torture scene was wonderful. I have a strange feeling that there was more planned for this section but it probably got thrown out with the budget cuts.

With SP, I liked the inventive sequences. Anything that was a throwback or derivative, I wasn't too keen on. This is where I think Mendes doesn't do it so well compared to Campbell....just imho.

Having seen Specter 3 times already, here's my 3 favorites scenes:

1-Train fight vs Hinx. Best fight in Bond's history. Brutal, realistic, admirably acted. Anything and everything you would want in a Bond fight. Fortunatly for us, Marc Foster was nowhere near the cameras or the editing room.

2-Escape from the torture chamber. That was a pure "now that's my boy" moment. Gunning down Blofeld's hired guns without fear was tremendously played by Daniel Craig.

3-Bond meeting Mr White. I really like how those 2 characters have growned since CR.
Bond evolved from puppet to respected allied. Mr White changed from lethal ennemy to
someone Bond could understand and deal with. Awesome.

I would like to add that Ben Whishaw's Q as growned on me. I hope Whishaw will be kept on board for a very long time. Also, Léa Seydoux, who may not be the most sexually attractive or beautiful Bond girl ever, surely was a breath of fresh air. A talented actress, her rendition of Madeline was perfect. The viewer could feel emotion for those sad eyes.

I agree, better performance than in SF I'd say.

That line, "I didn't say bring back one piece.", cracked me up.

    1) The torture scene and 'Hello, pussy'.

    2) The Bond/Hinx train fight and the now what / let's have sex look.

    3) Bond/Swann when they get off the train in Morocco and are waiting for their ride. Loved the entire look of that shot.

Red_Snow, no. 3), I love that scene too. How cool was Craig in that, strolling out with his gun behind his back!

Just so much better than SF & even a bit better than QOS IMO. I'm hoping Bond 25 will be as good or better....

    #1: Mexico.
#2: Bond's meeting with Lucia in Rome; it's like watching a dance, from the funeral to "Bonna fortuna, Donna Lucia."
#3: Bond's banter with the big bad in the basement of the blownup building (towards the end there).

Honourable mentions include the train fight of course, the torture scene/reveal I actually liked very much, and the lair in Morocco.

    1. Mr. White
    2. L'Américain (especially loved a drunk Madeleine rejecting Bond's advances and mockingly threatening to kill him).
    3. Train fight with Mr. Hinx

Honorable Mention: Any scene with Lea Seydoux. ;)

    In no particular order...

    1.) Mexico City

I love this scene not for the insane action or fisticuffs, but for the sheer Bondian aurora Dan gives off. I was sold by this scene because of just how much he owns the role during it, as always. Stand out moments are that opening walk, full of Connery-esque style and cool, the brief romance with Sigman's character, and best of all, the walk across the rooftops as Bond surgically puts together his weapon like he could do it in his sleep. Daniel Craig isn't Daniel Craig...he's James bloody Bond.

It's also important to note all the balls Mendes and his team had to juggle while shooting this: over 1,500 extras that had to be dressed, made up and given instruction. It's amazing how well it came together. The parade is like a technicolor dreamscape of Bondian style that I will never get tired of viewing. And I love how Bond is disguised during the opening. Having him in the skeleton suit and mask truly makes him a literal and figurative agent of death. Classic.

    2.) Hinx v. Bond/Train Fight

I almost wish I hadn't seen Hinx entering the train car in the trailers before watching this. I love how Bond and Madeleine's talk is boisterously interrupted by Hinx busting in like an untamed rhinoceros, throwing Bond around like a stuffed animal. I like that there isn't a score during this scene; you can feel every single punch landed and it's amazing to know that it's really Dan and Dave scrapping it out. Watching it the first time I was taken aback by how hard my heart was pounding; I actually thought Bond was going to die, it was so tense! I love how Hinx gets beaten, because it leaves them open to have him back, should they wish. The look Bond and Madeleine give each other afterwards is great; I love it when characters recognize the absurdity of the situations they find themselves in.

3.) Bond and Blofeld talk/MI6 in Ruins

As everyone else has chosen similar scenes, I'll pick one that I think is right up there with the best. I love the talk Bond and Blofeld share inside the ruins of MI6. It's Bond coming home in the best fashion, as he makes his way through the trap his enemy has set for him, each glance making him relive his past and all the people he's lost, namely Vesper and M. It's the first time we get to see Blofeld's great scar, and the dialogue exchanged between him and Bond is great. When Bond finds out Madeleine is trapped somewhere in the building and he has only minutes to save her, it's on. Blood was pumping madly in my veins as the music kicked up and Bond was racing around. I love that he finds Madeleine right near M's old office, and how they escape by bouncing on the net. The collapse of MI6 reminded me of Fight Club, and while I wish there had been a pause and bit of dramatic music before Bond and Madeleine escape by boat, the scene leads wonderfully into the crash of Blofeld's helicopter.

Bond refusing to waste a bullet on Blofeld is the worst thing he could do to him; he makes him seem worthless and insignificant, the antithesis of all he desires. Dan's Bond gives us another classic toss as he chucks the Walter into the Thames, and the final look Blofeld gives him screams, "this isn't over!" Perfect.

#1 Bond's banter with the big bad in the basement of the blownup building
#2. Scene when Bond refuses to kill Blofeld-a classic scene of Fleming's Bond
#3. How did I live? How did I breathe? When your not here I'm sufofocaitintg

After 5 viewings, I think I got this down.

    1. BMT-216A - I know some people think the original DB5 is played out, but I love it and loved this scene. What a great way to end the Craig era, if he chooses to not come back. 007 driving off in the original DB5, with the original registration, and a girl who's "the only one could understand him" by his side, with the main villain in his life behind bars. Perfect ending to the Craig era and to the whole Bond saga in a way (although I most certainty would never want that to happen)

    2. Mexico - On my first viewing I was disappointed that the long shot we had all heard about was not longer. Think how awesome it would have been if the long shot continued all the way until he got into the chopper. Upon subsequent viewings, however, I came to appreciate the scene more and the technological achievement that the long shot we got was. The music is also very good in the whole scene (well okay, the whole movie really).

    3. Q.s Workshop - The interactions with Q are always one of the highlights for me in any bond film, and Ben Whishaw does an absolutely amazing job. I didn't think I could ever accept another Q like I did Desmond Llewelyn, but I think with Ben I can.

Honorable mention to the gun barrel being at very beginning again (FINALLY!) and to that super spy Mickey Mouse crawling across the floor gathering intel.

    002) The snowplane chase in Austria(my favorite action sequence in the film)

If we somehow change a lot of scenes in Spectre it could be a better film but if anyone ever wish to change i hope they would keep these three scenes which really stand out as classic.
    1. Spectre meeting scene in Rome, from the moment bond enters to the moment he ran away. The way atmosphere of this scene builds slowly and the soft, terrifying score while Blofeld said "CUCKOO" sends shiver down.
    images?q=tbn%3AANd9GcTBccIpjRBauzM9ae0xXu0pPxg8Czmb9upI4bDmbjuENFrbDoXJ

    2. L'AMERICAN Hotel (favorite scene of the whole movie)
Mr White hide a secret room in a hotel room where bond and Madeline get's closure. From Madeline confronting about her parents that they have spent their honeymoon even after divorce he came back there with her. It doesn't get better than this.
    images?q=tbn%3AANd9GcQAsIk7AmeyAbUhY51STKU4s9XBB9WpcPLwwW79Q1zRbOKceGUq

    3. Meteorite Scene, there was plenty of things that bothers me about this film but this specific scene is phenomenal. Blofeld steps out of the shadow to reveal himself while using meteorite as a metaphor for "Spectre"- the unstoppable Force. The best part was bond giving him a classic " it did stop didn't it, right here".

    2-Meeting with Mr White
3-Bond and Madeline's escape from Blofled's complex, all guns firing.
