I so agree 100% with you.
After reading the leaked emails, and how livid BB was at Logan, Donald Duck has a better chance of scripting the next Bond film than Logan.
That's the problem for me too-- it's like taking all the actors I like and forcing their square peg through a circle (pun kinda intended).
I just can't imagine anyone at this point.
Yea I think that was just a guess or assumption. ...although Donald Duck might do a better job. We at least know his dialogue would be better than P&W's :P
As, for Blofeld not guaranteeing bigger box office - well, let's not forget that Spectre was actually sold on the premise that Christoph Waltz was playing Franz Oberhauser and NOT Blofeld, much like Benedict Cumberbatch's Khan was in Star Trek Into Darkness. Sure, everyone knows it now, but up to and during the movie's release date a huge swathe of the population was mostly following the marketing campaign and avoiding spoilers.
Anyway, my idea of having a Blofeld hidden in shadow could be difficult as there must be a scene depicting how he got out of prison and such a scene wouldn't do justice unless Blofeld was in it himself and it would be unrealistic to have him shrouded in shadow I guess until he's back in his lair. Maybe his wounds could have become infected so he has a bandage around his face.
Actress Naomie Harris wishes critics would give Daniel Craig more credit for "reinventing" the role of James Bond.
The British beauty has starred alongside the 47-year-old in two 007 movies, including last year's (15) smash hit Spectre, and while it's believed the movie will be Daniel's last outing as the superspy, Naomie thinks it's disrespectful to be discussing his successor before a final decision has been made.
"I feel it's premature, because I feel as though Daniel doesn't get the sort of respect and admiration he deserves," she told Elle.com. "He completely reinvented that role of Bond, and he has made it the most successful Bond of all time. People are turning out in droves to see him as Bond.
"So I think we should celebrate the fact that we have an amazing Bond and no one knows whether Daniel's going to come back or not."
Blofeld is lost for words and Bond says something witty and cryptic. Cue title sequence!
Maybe he should say 'Time to get out'
Sorry, but the Supremes have already ruled that discrimination, both past and present, is no longer significant enough to justify discrimination in favor of groups preferred by the state. The only legal rationale--and it is a daft one--is "diversity."
Personally, I favor everybody in the private sector being able to hire, fire, promote and admit whomsoever they choose for whatever reason. Private property rights and freedom of association should trump--so to speak--what we call "civil rights."
Lol.maybe not. Seriously though flip he whole thing and Bond breaking Blofeld out for his own reasons would be interesting if contrived...ah I suppose it would make little sense.
Yeah, that's a really good point there, my friend. :\">
EON has plans in place, they know what's happening behind the scenes, they know what they have in Waltz and Craig. Neither are going anywhere, not after the last two films have made 2 billion dollars. C'mon, now. People gotta know better than that.
Good point!
In fact all of them are in my Top 12 except Dr. No
I think this leads people into unrealistic expectations that may come back to bite them in the tuchus.
I'm partially with @LeChiffre here, though I still hold out hope for the future. Post Craig life will be like mourning a solid, good friend for me. If the Craig era is childhood, post-Craig is adulthood; you so enjoy the former that you can't stand accepting the latter, though you know it has to come eventually.
One thing I'm proud of has been seeing the respect for the work Dan has done continue to climb, with many people who were skeptical or critical of his films finding things to enjoy. It's extremely gratifying.
It'll be interesting when Bond #7 is cast, because EON might not have Campbell on board to do his magic for the third time.
I bet Daniel Craig will come back to play Britain's famous superspy whatsoever for the next Bond movie or he might replaced by another famous actor if changed his mind.
