If you turn it around you'll see how good a franchise this is.

Which three consecutive Bonds are the worst?

I can't really say I dislike three consecutive films. I only dislike about three or four films in the whole franchise. The closest I can get is MR-FYEO.

Exactly, that was my point. I'm glad you're the sane one in here :))

Hmmm, tempting to give it to either CR, QoS, SF or Spy, MR, FYEO (for the sheer sense of variety!), I have to go with the Golden Triumphate, that is DN, FRWL and GF.

Two great combos, but for Moore I'd have to go with LALD, TMWTGG, TSWLM.

I can dig that trio. If I were stuck on a desert island, it be awfully tempting to go with Spy, MR and FYEO. But quality wise, it's got to be the three originals.

I won't open up a thread for this, so here a question:

Which Bond movies would you choose to take with you on the so-called lonely island.

    The even-numbered
    or
    The uneven-numbered

DN GF YOLT DAF TMWTGG MR OP TLD GE TWINE CR SF

FRWL TB OHMSS LALD TSWLM FYEO AVTAK LTK TND DAD QOS SP

To answer the OP's question, OHMSS, DAF and LALD.

To answer Jason's question, even numbers.

Difficult choice. I would not want to miss out on FRWL, OHMSS and LTK. But the overall quality of the uneven numbers is certainly higher.

Even, just. What a difficult choice.......

    Worst three in succession?

    TND-TWINE-DAD hands down.

HAS to be the uneven (TLD is contained therein).

I love goldeneye but if im gonna be in a desert island i need some camp to cheer me up and Goldeneye is a little dark for a desert island time hehe.

Back in 2013 I guessed it would never happen.
Give it three years and here we are.

I'm still on the OP-AVTAK-TLD bus.

But I like DN-FRWL-GF and also the OHMSS-DAF-LALD to get a three Bond actor combo.

Firstly if its a desert island, where the hell do you plug in to watch anything?
Anyway I'd go with best 3 in a row TSWLM, MR ,FYEO , worst 3 DAF, LALD, TMWTGG although I always have had a soft spot TMWTGG . And for me the evens just about edge it, but its a close run thing.

Uneven. It has the best overall, but it's missing my favorite TND.

It's the LOST island, power galore, and traps, and alternate universes, and a wormhole to the past, and it's hell.

    Consecutive Bond films.
    For example:
    DN-GF
    LALD -TSWLM
    GE-TWINE
    CR-SF

Or any combination of consecutive films.

Tough to choose which era to go for, Connery - Dr. No, From Russia with Love, and Goldfinger or Craig - Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, and Skyfall.

So just for fun I'll say The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, and For Your Eyes Only.

For the three consecutive worst films I'll go with A View to A Kill, The Living Daylights, and Licence to Kill.

There are no 3 consecutive bad bond films, I dont even think there are two. I would say DAD CR QOS, and I think CR is number 2 overall

Damn, this is a tough one. I'd have to go with:

    FYEO - OP - AVTAK
    TLD - LTK - GE
    DAD - CR - QoS

If only that damn SF wouldn't get in the way it would be a clear case.

    CR-QOS-SP :))

In 2038 a similar question will be asked online, and Justin Bieiber's first three Bond movies ( Dr. D'Oh, Kill Another Week & The Cyborg Who I Loved) will be picked over & over. Not because they are better than movies of the past, but because they resonate with current sensibilities. So picking Craig's three now is perfectly understandable for younger folks. :)>-
