Among those Felton met with was a representative of J. Walter Thompson, the Ford Motor Co. ad agency. JWT believed Ford might be interested in being a sponsor. Anyway, after Felton's pitch, Fleming was still on the mind of those involved. Hence, it was suggested Felton collaborate with Fleming. Thus the start of a long chain of events.
