My God man!! Why are you on the forum?? Let's us not interrupt your hand :D.
*sigh* I could use a good game of poker right now.
=))
Although I personally prefer Fassbender and Dan Stevens, Hiddleston is one fine, fine candidate. I watched High-Rise the other night, maybe even a better Bond showcase then The Night Manager.
Speaking about High-Rise, it will be interesting to see if Sienna Miler fu*ked another one into the role :)
This is roughly what people said about Brosnan, isn't it?
I don't think so. Craig wasn't on the scene when Brosnan was cast.
No but with Brosnan people said he had the charm of Moore combined with the hrser egde of Sean Connery.
Sadly, it all didn't come together like some (especially myself) hoped, and by the end of it all I welcomed the reboot with open arms.
I hope Hiddle can live up to my expectations, if he is cast. I hope he will will make the role his own, like Craig has done, rather than trying to imitate his forebearers, like Brosnan did.
If it's Turner, I'll be ok with it too. Fassbender would be great. Craig again would be great too, if only a placeholder for one film. Bell is a no no.

"Ben Whishaw isn't playing Q. Agents are liars." - Daniel Craig, Barbara Broccoli
"I am definitely not playing Blofeld, my character is Franz Oberhauser." - Christoph Waltz
"I’m sorry to disappoint you, everybody. I don’t think that announcement is coming. But I’m very gratified to hear the enthusiasm. There’s not much that I can say that I haven’t already said, but I know… Your guess is as good as mine to be honest." - Tom Hiddleston
Anyway, you get the point.
It's all just a media game at this point.
I think Hiddleston has been actively trying to shut down interviewers for a couple weeks now that are trying to ask him about Bond, in his most polite way of course, as seen here:
I am starting to wonder if Babs had any talks with anybody... since there is no official statement of Craigs departure, why should they even look for someone new?
And if Craig departed, why would they keep that a secret? (and if they tryed to keep it a secret, they pretty much failed in that regard)
