Craig’s physique is fine and has never been an issue. His physique is pretty standard for someone who is disciplined with their workouts. The real problem are his tight suits in SF and SP.

I think that Craig's physique in the last 3 Bond films have been reasonable; but maybe that's just me. The funny thing is, this was actually on my mind as I was watching QoS last night and Craig just looked impeccable in his suits and overall attire. It baffles me as to why on Earth they decided to go for an almost comical, ill-fitting look for his last 2 outings.
Although Craig looks great in those clips, I'd still prefer someone a bit taller and more lean next time out (but not too slim shouldered like Brosnan). Connery-like of course would be ideal, but even Dalton, Lazenby or early Moore type of physique would work for me. I find that body type just looks best in the suits and on film.
Who said anything about hating 'happy endings'.
Also, a film can be mainly up beat and then end on a downer and vice versa.
Just feels like Craig deserves to go out on some epic note, not drivin away in the DB5
Ending with a downer is exactly the anti-happy ending.
While I would have preferred if the climax with Blofeld was by far more confrontational, and should have been interpreted in two films, seeing as the hint about his swansong is due, I don't want "Bond's story" to end with a downer like some have suggested. If Spectre's is how this Bond's story ended, I am satisfied with it.
If Craig returns then okay ...but ugh I don't want more of that SP pointless retread storyline and lame reincarnation of Blofeld.
So yeah I'm wanting fresh.
What's sad and I know it's just movies but I really do hate to see people leave because of casting. Yes, it's a legitimate reason to drop out but still ....oh well.
Turner would have been 'fucking tragic'. Lack of screen presence and a boring safe choice.

Poor casting IMO.
Not that Leah is a bad actress but she did not convince as love interest for Craig.
Severine in SF was better although she had few scenes and was bumped off very early.
I really believe they inserted the 'i love you' after the fact, and the same goes for the impromptu train sex. If you remove those two scenes, these two seem almost like brother and sister rather than lovers. He didn't even seem to give a toss when she said she was leaving him in London.
Moneypenny was the sister in SP. Since she was ridiculing him constantly, and there was zero sexual tension... The relationship with madelinne was... I don't now what that was. but it wasn't much of anything, that much is clear
Also thanks to those who pointed out about Fleming's bond being morose but someone had said what is adapted from what and in my opinion here is where the Fleming novels lie mind you just my opinion warning the list is long
Casino Royale:
Where and what was used: well the cane gadget found its way into the world is not enough and outside of that the entire book was pretty much used verbatim in the 2006 film...
What is left? Could they have another card game climax of use the books reason for Le Chiffe needing money (whore houses in France if I remeber) but I don't think they ever will but for the most part if has been used but not reused so maybe down the line

What is used and where: the novel has been split up into three films
Live and let die: characters and title and one location
For your eyes only: the torture sequence
Licence to kill: Leiter getting eaten and a lot of Sanchez smuggling operation comes from the novel
What is left? Well Mr. big's real name st Petersburg Florida as a location and the pirate gold smuggling all could be reworked for a film
Moonraker:
What has been used: good god what hasn't been used like live and let die the book has been adapted three times
Moonraker: characters title and the torture sequence were lifted straight from the book
Goldeneye: the main plot really borrows heavidly from the book (Trevellyan being scared in a similar way to Drax)
Die another Day: the plot of the book was updated but is still extremly preasent in the book in fact after reading Moonraker I had new appreciation for purvis and Wade and a new hatred for Tamahori
What is left: Gala brand m asking bond to smoke out a card cheat at the local club and that is it folks

A view to a kill the horse race stuff and the cheating of Zorin could be I worked either by Diamonds or Licence renewed many claim the latter I feel the former makes more sense as to be honest I am not sure Michael G Wilson ever read any of the post Fleming novels. I know he has read all of Fleming and based on his tenure of writing scripts I can tell which books were his favorite and which were not...
What is left: the Spang brothers and of course diamond smuggling could be reused again
I figure I will stop there as already I pointed out you could develop a few films based on the above unused stuff alone 1 day I will go through all the novels but I figure the above is enough for the time being
Btw I think we will get info regarding bond 25 this summer but it's not going to be anything too exciting largely I can see the next two headlines being released

Top actors can take a very long time to decide to take on a role, or reprise a role, or to decline it. My ex is a top casting director and I've seen her work on productions for way over a year or more just to nail down an actor (offered a lead role) to make a decision.
However, I think Craig needed at least one full blown tradtional Bond girl that lasts more than 5 bloody minutes before tackling a movie that explores him being in a love-relationship. The prospect of it really working is definitely there as a fair amount of time would have passed since Vesper and also because we get to see a more traditional relationship dynamic between Bond and a Bond girl.
Sharing one rather awkwardly rushed kiss with Camille doesn't count, neither does Fields and Severing, as they had about 7 minutes of screen time if that and MP sure as hell doesn't count and neither does shag me up against the wall chick from the 10 second scene from SF and dont get me started on Sigman in the SP PTS. The Craig era post CR have done a rather frustrating job with the Bond girls and he really deserved a traditional Bond girl before exploring something more romantically heavy. Funny how Mendes was able to explore directing his ex wife in sexual relationships better than what he did with the Bond films. If only Kate Winslet was cast as a Bond girl...
To me it felt like Bond realised his movie was about to end and he hadn't scored yet; so he literally stole a kiss from Camille before the end credits started to roll.
Same goes to the absence of Felix lately. The only way we'll see him now is if Dan does Bond 25, and, at the opening of the film at his and Madeleine's wedding (my dream), Felix arrives as a guest.
I quite like that, and it has crossed my mind that Bond near the end was aware that he wasn't getting lucky.

I pissed & moaned about Moore all through my youth, got a brief wonderful respite with Dalton, but never imagined I would actually give up seeing the movies in the theater, which is what happened now after the 50th ...

With news that the first trailer for the 23rd James Bond movie, Skyfall, is coming next month, Sony has announced that is has been unable to prevent Daniel Craig from playing the iconic spy with a lisp.
“He develops a lisp towards the end of the movie,” a spokesperson for Sony announced. “We’ve checked his contract, and if he wants to play Bond with a lisp, he can. We’re not permitted to dub at this stage.”
It is though that Craig wanted to shake-up the role following the disappointing Quantum of Solace, and that he’ll continue to play James Bond with a lisp, should he sign on to the newly announced 24th James Bond movie, due in 2014,
