My personal favourite has to be haserot's second entry, though - there is just something about it. Can I ask what you used to make it? I would normally just assume Photoshop, but it seems a little too good (or maybe 'quirky' would be a better way to put it) for it, if that even makes sense. Admittedly, that judgement could be down to my lack of any real Photoshop ability beyond generic posters.
Honourable mention to Gobi - perhaps something slightly more Live and Let Die related would have won me over, though it is obviously very slick technically.
That's what she said :-j
Haserot, you are also clearly a genius. Where have you been hiding all these years? What reason would there be to rig the book cover contest? You really created an account to post that?
O:)
I really appreciate that! May I also welcome you to the new house. Make yourself at home!
And I didn't create an account to post that, my original account disappeared with the rest of the forum.
Ps. Does anybody mind me having another go? :')
My favourites are @Nick_007 's and @haserot 's second. Didn't know you were such an artist Nick ;)
@Captain_Nikoli - for the record, only one non-administrator knew of the cover choice before it was announced on the main site/community. Even then, it was just a suggestion for the next cover to be designed. A suggestion that we opted for.
the skull cover just came out of the whole voodoo vibe - and i would be lying if i said i wasn't also influenced by the opening credits to the film itself...
but as i was finishing that one, the idea for the second came into my head - the one with the voodoo doll - so i quickly did that one up...
after using photoshop for 10 years, i have become very very proficient at it - and both those covers took me no less than 30 - 45 minutes to do...
that's how i was able to get them out so quick....... i hate to be a braggart, but i am fast..
:-D
If this doesn't work:
Try this: http://img577.imageshack.us/f/liveandletdiebookcover2.png/
But some of these are simply brilliant.
Keep up the good work folks, and don't be shy. I guarantee you'll do better than me. ;;)
Nope... going to edit it tonight... :P
Too bad no deleted button... :-(
Try this Link: http://img684.imageshack.us/i/liveandletdiecoverimage.jpg/
MOD EDIT: Fixed image tags
(You had the code right but the link was wrong. Close though!)
I see you're having some problems!
Try not to quintuple post. I've cleaned up some of your posts for clarity.
I will also try and fix the embedding for you. I like the cover!

you've done a great job too! the daggr and the ctscapes give the cover a classy look! it's diffrent from the 'skull' covers
I've sent you a pm explaining the reason why your image wasn't working. If you ever have any other troubles with posting with HTML codes you can check out the How-to guide here and if that doesn't answer your questions just send me a message. Cheers.
