Marc Lawrence. So great in Abbott and Costello's HOLD THAT GHOST, and in KEY LARGO.

    Another shot of Maud.

Lee remains my all time favorite actor alongside Bogie and Mitchum.

I recently found season 1 of FANTASY ISLAND at a yard sale for fifty cents. Thinking of trading it in today, but I may well keep it.

Two iconic Bond villains. When was the last time we had a villain/henchman duo that were iconic? Zorin and Mayday?

    Hmm.

Scaramanga slides down, does a somersault and shoots.

In this next shot, Christopher Lee in that tracksuit and sneakers looks like the letter "L".

The letter "L" stands for Lee.

I need a puppet of The Count to properly make this joke.

Still he looks bad a$$ in the track suit.

    Great PTS, IMO.

    Even greater titles.

    Underrated.

    Roger looks damn good here.
Bill Tanner, played by somebody is hanging out with M. Michael Goodlife!!!

What kind of Bond fan am I? I actually had to look that up as I'd forgotten who he was.
These two characters don't have much presence, TBH, and I'm glad we later got Freddie Gray to join the team.

Roger has some great facial expressions as she dances in front of him.

Are the three guys her body guards? Bouncers perhaps?
Never quite understood this plot point of the dressing room fight. Just an excuse for an action sequence.
That said it's the one fight in the Roger films that most reminds me of THE SAINT.

Beautiful, soon to be ruined by Cubby suit.

Great version of the Bond theme as Bond comes to Macau.
    White safari jacket!

He says the line three times in this one, the 3rd in the 3rd person.

They're enjoying some noodles like Harrison Ford in BLADE RUNNER.

Maybe I'll do that for dinner tonight?

Marne Maitland was in some Hammer horrors.

There's a fun Robert Mitchum noir called MACAO.
    Jane Russell.

I believe Lowery got rid of a strobe light effect as Bond tails Andrea and watches her in the boat.

They also effed up a shot in AVTAK that was supposed to show an earth tremor. Stacey's mansion.

I should really go back and re-collect the earlier SE DVD's.
    Pre-Lowery.

This Blu-ray looks alright, but the colors aren't as vibrant as the SE version.

He kind of did a Rogerism with that slap by holding her face.

Often he would hold his opponents head with his left hand while punching with his right.

Did that on THE SAINT a lot in fight sequences.

    The BOTTOMS UP club.

Wei Wei Wong. There's a Facebook page devoted to her. I never knew she had passed on in 1999.

Which collections doesn't have the Lowery restoration?

The one Roger-ism this film lacks is the Roger Nod.

I don't believe he does it in this one.

I like Hip. Underrated Bond ally, IMO.
    I love Barry's score here.

Scaramanga taunts Andrea. This was always trimmed on ABC.

Bond arrives at his new digs. I'd love for MI6 HQ to have some extraordinary locale again. This is quite cool. Great set. I really like Peter Murton's production design on TMWTGG.
