I always felt the scene in QoS where Camille gives her back story to Bond was similar to this, except this is a bit lighter and more playful.
Yes, whereas the book description of her background was very dark.
She is a bit different in the book. Nude, and I believe her nose is busted.
Another reason I prefer the original mono track: in the cinema as Bond smashes the coffee cup the sound was incredibly loud . The remastered stereo version mutes the smashed cup considerably. I watching this bit over and over again comparing the audio. Also I think it's funny.
I should track down a copy of the SE DVD and compare with the Blu-ray. If I recall, there were some framing issues withe the 2006 Lowery UE DVD.
Been so long since I've seen another transfer I'm curious as to what the color differences were.
The great Bond Mayday seduction scene! Yes!!!! Bond rolls his eyes. LOL.
"OOOOOHHHHRRHHHH"
That would be classic!
Took horror fans decades to discover the lake in FRANKENSTEIN was Malibou Lake. Some fans even found the exact spot Boris Karloff tosses little Maria into. More than 80 years later.
I think On the Tracks of 007 should find this exact location from AVTAK.
I have forgotten the name, but it is mentioned where it is in the documentary "The exotic locations of 007" on the ultimate edition extra disc. It is in Britain somewhere.
I'll have to check out that documentary.
Bond's camera gun is a cool gadget, with the signature handprint feature a precursor to Skyfall's handprint Walther.
Good call, Award Winning @QBranch .
Hilderbrand safe house is a nice touch though
I don't think we'll see bonds facial scar and other little bits untill someone like netflix makes faithful adaptions of the novels
Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, alas ;)
