My personal guess (if you can call it that) is that he was hired very recently and that's why he posted the picture on Instagram as a sneaky celebration. I'm warming round to him, and while I don't think he will be playing Felix, he does have a bit of Jack Lord about him.

I wonder if EON might use that Huey helicopter rumored back in February 2017. Hmm.
Are they broadcasting it as the 2015 Comic Relief where they interviewed Daniel and Ben Whishaw? If so, how can I watch it online?
Wow! That was a rumor back in 2017 already? Man, it’s certainly taken a while to get this movie rolling.
I was wondering about that as well. The “historical war film” that it was supposedly obtained for never materialized.
How reliable is discussing film?
This issue is, while they have excellent acceleration and usually a high top speed, they suffer from endurance problems. The batteries overheat quickly when the car is ran at high speed for longer durations due to the high current drain. That’s why you don’t see many electric cars in the racing scene, despite their performance stats; also why you don’t see police using them as pursuit vehicles. This would be an issue for Bond and his driving style.
Might remember wrong about this, but I haven't read anything about protests (nor explosions for that matter). Local environmental organisations have only criticised the secrecy around the building of the cabin – in an area with firm building restrictions. That's far from the "FURY" alluded to in the article headline. If anything, it's the security guards and their behaviour towards locals that has been mentioned the most. Here's a quote from an online article:
I've been consistently led to believe that filming will start some time in March-- whether this is second unit or first, I have no idea.
Re: the press conference: if filming of some kind does, indeed, start filming inside of this month pre-press conference, as Q branch stated, the Clap Board will simply say Bond 25.
Re: protesters: if this is all true about a small group, it won't effect filming. There will be enough security on site to push these people well away from the location (protesters and film shoots are nothing new, lol).
I have absolutely no idea. My guess, and that's all it is, would be this happens in the first couple of weeks of April.
But, as some other smarter people on this site have reminded us: the last presser was announced (I think), two days before actually happening. So, 007.com could put something up at any time, giving a 48 hour count down...
Enjoy the ride!
Wait...what?
So you’ll try and ruin Bond 25 if you don’t get your way.
Gee thanks.
Knowing EoN’s liking for one line tweets it will probably be...
“We’re pleased to announce that “Shatterhand”, the 25th Bond film, is now in production. Cast includes.... “
And maybe a logo.
:D
You are actually the least patient man on these forums. ;)
Well this will certantly put a damper on me Pete and babe crazy Vegas weekends but not an insumountable one... on with the party
Also I wouldn’t be shocked if by next Friday we knew the title but again don’t quote me on it
