I’ll put out my own predictions for newcomers:

Lashana Lynch - new MI6 operative, introduced to Bond by Moneypenny. Not sure how heavily involved in story, but hopefully none of the “new 007” nonsense.

David Dencik - the kidnapped scientist. Perhaps not as innocent as he seems on the surface...

Ana de Armas - femme fatale, possibly girlfriend of Rami Malek’s villain - like a Zorin/May Day combo.

Dali Benssalah - a henchman of Malek’s character that Bond will have to fight. Maybe Malek’s character leads some kind of organization that wears the mask we saw in the Norway footage and Benssalah’s character is part of it?

Billy Magnussen - a CIA operative who is kind of like the new Gregory Beam, except this time probably lower on the totem pole than Leiter. Maybe the CIA parallel of Lynch’s character if she is an MI6 agent, but less trustworthy.

Rami Malek - the main villain. Possibly tied to Blofeld and/or SPECTRE. In any case, he should be the big bad of the movie.

Yes, I would have loved to see more of Goldeneye too. The GMA/GMB interviews might show more though.

Bond is retired and comes back? The only logical title for the movie is Licence Renewed

NO Waltz! Yes! Yes! Yes! I was right + I don't have to go into exile.

PP, I wouldn't put my money on that. Serious sources are saying Waltz will be back. I've heard it from two sources presently at Jamaica. Not that anyone wants you to go into exile ;) , so you should retract on that while you can. Just saying.
No, I will absolutely go into exile the day Waltz is confirmed to be back. His return would be an incredibly stupid thing for several reasons:

    1. Except for a few obsessed Bond fans, nobody cares about Blofeld and even fewer people care about Brofeld.
    2. When you have the great Rami Malek playing an intriguing new villain, why on Earth should Waltz return to play a character that was one of the worst parts of the last Bond film?
    3. Creatively, Spectre was a flop, they should be distancing themselves from it as much as possible.

I don't disagree with you on those 3 points. Really. Just saying what I've heard. It won't put me to exile, though. I know that if they're bringing him back it must serve a plot point. Same for Madeleine. If anything, they can use them to better SP and take the 25th to other fields. Heck, I don't know. I just thought it was dangerous for you to promise such a thing.

    THE GOOD:
    - Few locations! It seems they won't return to Norway later + lots of rumoured locations such as Greece, Spain, Tunesia, Dubrovnik (I wonder what their mayor thinks now! :)) )

He is no longer a mayor there. Also he faces corruption charges now :D

It wasn't. I don't know if SPECTRE and Blofeld will be back, but they're making a new film that is 100% following what happened by the end of SP, speaking about Bond's arc.

Please, can everyone get off Craig's back? His BBC interview was excellent, he was articulate and very much ready to get cracking. I think people tend to misinterpret his attitude, he takes things seriously but everyone who has worked with him says he's funny and a pleasure to be around. The highlights of BBC interview are below:https://bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-48054674
Actually he's reaffirming my fears about a lot of potential girl-power and an old James Bond having to deal with it... I've never doubted his enthusiasm or commitment to playing the character, just his judgement in it's execution.

I still fear that Rami Malek is too young and physically slight to play a convincing Bond villain. I also note that the last time a young Oscar-winning actor was cast in a Bond film it was Christopher Walken in AVTAK. Not a great precedent. Halle Berry and Christoph Waltz are two further examples of the Oscar curse. But Javier Bardem was a happy exception, so maybe Malek will follow suit?

I'm secretly hoping this one will better the viewing of SP in some way, actually. I'm keeping positive about this arc thing. It's a Daniel Craig era thing, so I'm fine with it.

IMO, Craig looks the best here he's looked since QOS.
I thought he was great in the brief interview. There's only so much you can do with "What's your favorite gadget?" or whatever trite questions are being tossed at him.

I am very excited for B25 now.

I see the red top British press have already homed in on Ana De Armas' raunchy movie past just like they did with Eva Green.
    0_PAY-JS180728471.jpg
The movie that they've stumbled upon is 2016 boxing drama Hands of Stone. I'm surprised the journalist didn't mention 1915 Knock Knock which also featured a very naked performance from the Cuban actress. By the way, Knock Knock was the movie when I first came across Ana De Armas and thought she was stunning and would make a great Bond girl. Anyway, we're going to get more of this from the gutter press now that the beautiful Ana De Armas has been cast.

What do you mean? Max Zorin is a classic villain. Love it when he machine guns his own goons.

The cast do seem very young. Although Decnik and Wright can obviously hold their own with Craig.
Craig is looking old and puffy so hope he doesn't look ridiculous amongst all these young looking women.

I thought the Monica Bellucci casting in SP made sense - certainly the Bond girl should be mid 30s to early 40s when up against Craig.

Perhaps Maddy is the Bond girl for this one and that's it. The others are just characters he has non romantic interactions with.

Great casting, already in his "announcement video" Malek looks the part.

Glad to see Jeffrey Wright back of course!

And...still no title is stupid, sorry...what if it's going to stay BOND 25? :D

The "live reveal" video on Youtube now has more than 89.000 views. ;-)

I'm surprised that it hasn't popped up on 007.com yet. In any case I enclose a screenshot of it here and copy and paste the text from what I received under the spoiler tag:

    THE 25TH JAMES BOND ADVENTURE
    SET TO START PRINCIPAL PHOTOGRAPHY

    Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga

Produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli

Starring Daniel Craig as James Bond 007

JAMAICA, APRIL 25, 2019 – GoldenEye in Jamaica. James Bond Producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli today confirmed the start of principal photography on the 25th official James Bond film begins on 28 April 2019. From Albert R. Broccoli’s EON Productions and Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios, the film is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and stars Daniel Craig, who returns for his fifth film as Ian Fleming’s James Bond 007.

Metro Goldwyn Mayer will release the 25th James Bond feature film domestically through their United Artists Releasing banner on April 8, 2020; through Universal Pictures International and Metro Goldwyn Mayer in the UK and internationally from April 3, 2020.

Director, Cary Joji Fukunaga confirmed the returning cast, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright and introduced Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah, David Dencik, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen and Rami Malek.

Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

The 007 production will be based at Pinewood Studios in the UK, and on location in London, Italy, Jamaica and Norway.

Wilson and Broccoli commented, “We’re thrilled to return to Jamaica with Bond 25, Daniel Craig’s fifth instalment in the 007 series, where Ian Fleming created the iconic James Bond character and Dr No and Live And Let Die were filmed.”

Written by Neal Purvis & Robert Wade, Scott Z. Burns with Cary Joji Fukunaga and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, other members of the creative team are; Director of Photography Linus Sandgren, Editor Tom Cross and Elliot Graham, Production Designer Mark Tildesley, Costume Designer Suttirat Larlarb, Supervising Stunt Coordinator Olivier Schneider, 2nd Unit Stunt Coordinator Lee Morrison and Visual Effects Supervisor Charlie Noble. Returning members to the team are; 2nd Unit Director Alexander Witt, Special Effects and Action Vehicles Supervisor Chris Corbould and Casting Director Debbie McWilliams.

Spectre, the 24th James Bond film, was a global box office hit, opening #1 in 81 territories around the world, including the U.S., and earning $880 million at the global box office. The film broke a new all-time box office record in the UK with the biggest seven-day opening of all time at $63.8 million. Skyfall, the 23rd film in the series, earned $1.1 billion worldwide.

The start of production launch of Bond 25 was streamed live on the official James Bond channels: 007.com, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and the video is now available on demand on all of these sites.

    NOTES:

The announcement took place at GoldenEye in Jamaica, once the home of Ian Fleming where he created the James Bond character in 1952. Ian Fleming wrote 12 novels and two collections of short stories on the island. GoldenEye is owned and operated by Island Outpost, founded by Chris Blackwell who formerly owned Island Records.

GoldenEye will not be used as a filming location for Bond 25.

The first 007 film, Dr No, produced by Albert R Broccoli and Harry Saltzman, Fleming’s sixth novel, filmed on location in Jamaica in 1962 starring Sean Connery.

The production has employed approximately 500 local Jamaican cast and crew and has support from the Government of Jamaica led by the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Tourism and the Film Commission.

James Bond is the longest running, and one of the most successful franchises of all time, with twenty-four films produced and the twenty-fifth about to commence principal photography. Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli succeeded Albert R 'Cubby' Broccoli and have produced the past eight Bond films together, including the highly successful Skyfall and Spectre. All of the James Bond films have been made in collaboration with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios or United Artists, its predecessor.
