Opinions, trolls and etc are not facts.
In skyfall he was a bit depressed and dealing with different issues but in Bond25 he is enjoying his holiday just like in CR beach scene with vesper.
Is this what intrigued me......how well will Bond suit the “tranquil life”. I imagine he’s not fitting into it well. Hence why Felix’s offer intrigues him.
In this interview, Fukunaga hints at the character-driven approach to action and how Bond will physically will be tested. I think we will get something close to CR where Bond will be a wreck after the action. It make sense considering his 5 years off:

Also, I’m getting the feeling the initial action sequence won’t end well and we may get a LTK-redux with Leiter either dying or getting maimed.
I think it be painfully dumb if they bring back Madeleine to kill her. I hope she’s there to break up with Bond as their relationship isn’t working since his retirement
She'll be leaving him because she's fed up with him constantly being on his PS4.
I think they will go out of their way to show how happy/settled Bond is in order to maximise the drama in terms of what he is about to get himself into and how high the stakes are.
Re Madeleine, does Bond do "breaking up", its all a bit domestic isn't it? We are used to the Bond girls just disappearing at the end of one film and we have a clean slate for the next movie. One of the issues with having a plot continuation is how Bond deals with long term relationships (how Bond would hate that word). Having a row whilst doing the washing up is very much not Bond. "if thats how you feel, I'm packing my bags" "see if I care"
What next? an apt with Relate?
This is not Bond. Bond girls just disappear or get killed. Madeleine is a big issue for me. She bugs me.
The question is whether they want something that sounds like John Barry or if they want a radically different approach, just like they rebooted the franchise with Casino Royale on almost every other aspect that was starting to rely on nostalgia.
I didn't mind Thomas Newman's score on Skyfall (even if I prefer his cousin Randy, who's unlikely to write a score for a Bond film...), I loved that they waited till we get to the garage to use the James Bond theme in full. I like "Los Muertos Estan Vivos", and I put the blame on Mendes for recycling the previous score on Spectre. That said, he should have accepted to integrate the melody to the song by Adele more often, and there aren't many memorable moments in his scores.
The fact that they haven't made a decision suggests that Fukunaga and Broccoli may be open to something different. If it fails, they still have Arnold's number, and they know he'll do something honorable in a few weeks. Definitely not something as inventive as Barry (who had much more range, and had evolved a lot between his horn-heavy early scores and the melodious stuff played on strings he was more interested in, starting with Moonraker), but you can't have everything.
I'm curious to know if Daniel Kleinman will do the credits again. Skyfall may have been his best work, but Spectre was definitely the worst of his contributions.
Spot on observation. Music is such a powerful tool in the Bond movies. If they want to evoke the old feel of classic Bond, then surely, they go to Arnold? if the director has a whole new vision of what a Bond movie is, then you stear well clear of Arnold and go for something very new.

I can't watch the SP title sequence without laughing. The tentacles makes me think of a certain scene in Bullshot (1983).

Apart from actual facts about the production most of what was said was waflfe and hot air. Saying you respect tradition could mean anything. I'm sure Tamahori made the same empty sounds at the DAD launch.
Even Craig's comments about whether it's his last managed to sow further uncertainty rather than enlighten us. Prior to this press junket we all assumed he'd be gone after B25 - now who knows?

Maybe Tamahori did make the same empty sounds at the DAD launch, but he still kept Arnold for that distinct traditional Bond vibe.
Several of the comments regarding inspiration and favourite movies from the franchise have been DN, FRWL and GF.
I'm wondering if this film could have a more 60's feel to it as far as tone goes.
It's really boosted my enthusiasm for what's in store. I think this could be a very different Bond film, whilst retaining all the elements we love. I'm hoping Malek delivers more than Waltz with his phone it in Blofeld. Though I blame the script and direction for Waltz's performance. I hope Malek doesn't get the same treatment.
I think having a new director will help immensely, Mendes shouldn't have returned for SP.

There's also Noomi, which is used in Nordic countries. Noomi Rapace is one example (ex-wife of SF's Ola Rapace).
However I feel it's unlikely he will return this time or probably ever. Why would Fukunaga use Arnold when he can work with anyone he wants? And I suspect the same will apply to future directors as well.
The guy who directed skyfall would be more appropriate, except Martin Campbell no bond director left on a high note, so I have nothing against Mendes.
What other parallels are there to Pearson's 'Unauthorized Biography'? I've never read it @octofinger. The only thing I'm aware of in the book is that we're introduced to a retired James Bond—who is in his fifties, yet healthy, sun-tanned, and married to Honeychile Ryder.

If the box office is high enough, it may well have a huge impact as to whether Craig returns. EON would certainly like him back regardless I think it would be safe to say.
