First MI6 post.
Just saw SPECTRE and it was amazing. This film felt so much like a Connery era film. I loved the respect and attention to past Bond films by Mr. Mendes and Co., while turning familiar Bond tropes on their ear.
In particular, they established one of the most bad-ass Bond moments ever when Bond took down two SPECTRE assassins while his hands are tied and he has a bag on his head.
Everything was top notch. I actually had no clue where the film was going to end up and was surprised with the ending. Mr. Craig may not be contracted for another film but in the words of Miss. Moneypenny "I think you're just getting started".
After having read on-line reviews from some regular film critics and their tepid response, I wondered if they even saw the same film I did. I found "I kept saying to myself well they don't get it".
Ultimately, Bond fans such as the ones from this community do "get it" and comment with intelligent opinion, and discussion.
