  • It could go either way, with Craig riding off in the sunset but then again Blofeld is still out there. No way he stays captured long. There's so much potential in the two of them for Bond 25 it boggles the mind.
  • No question whatsoever EON and whoever the new distributor is wants Craig to stay. After 3 billion + dollars from the last 4 films a new actor would be too big of a risk. The only people wanting or speculating over a possible replacement are here on…
  • Not saying it's ok for them to do it but it is not just Bond. Look at the recent Star Wars and Star Trek films. Nothing but creating cardboard character cliches and homages to the past. Of course, that could just be J. J. ABrams' fault. :P
  • Yes, there is a big difference between actor and movie star. My favorite stars are Tom Cruise and Harrison Ford. Favorite actors Al Pacino and Gene Hackman. The former two were also movie stars to a certain extent but not like Ford or Cruise.

  • Heh. Yep. There's plenty more out there, believe me. He's right about the vitriol that came out against SP. It's shocking really. Positively shocking. :-bd
  • Never saw it in release here. I was a kid after all. But I have the DVD. What's a bit frustrating about a lot of his films is that they are kinda hard to get around here. Crossplot was tough to find, Shout at the Devil only recently came out on BD,…
  • I am a bit annoyed there is no official news at all at this point. Even Indy 5 has a release date, the director and star signed up, and a writer on board writing the script as we speak and it's not coming out until 2019. Lame.
  • + infinity. Nothing to see here, nothing to see....
  • Another thing about Moore's Bond is his high level of knowledge about so many things. He knows how to disarm bombs, knows things about what's happening in the world like with the Faberge Eggs, different weapon systems the enemy uses, etc. Connery al…
  • DaltonCraig007 wrote: » Talking about Moore always makes me want to pop one of his Bond outings in my blu ray player. No threads about the other 5 Bond's has the same effect on me. I as well. I just finished my annual Bond-A-Thon but I stil…
  • Yep. GF is just amazing; it's Golden Age Bond firing on all cylinders, with the perfect tone juggling the simmering spy thriller of FRWL and the outlandishness and epic scale of TB.

  • I disagree. SP, IMO, was a shock to audiences who are not familiar with "formula" Bond. With the dawn of the Craig era, a series of 3 Bond films highly different from the 20 that came before them, common audience members became accustomed to Bond fi…

  • Plenty of other things to argue about in the meantime. :))

  • @BondJasonBond006, not to get into a pissing match but I believe SF is #1 at the BO for Bond, even when adjusted for inflation.
  • Well, some of these might not have been Spectre per se, just individuals whose initiatives and agendas were used by Bofeld to further SP's plans. It seems like to me Le Chiffre was simply brought into the party unwillingly for the most part, and Sil…

  • Well said, @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7! There's lots of story to be told. I still don't get how people are so sure Craig is leaving when EON only just got the rights back to Spectre and Blofeld. They ain't gonna let their 3 Billion Dollar Boy go when they…

  • Craig is coming back.
  • My pleasure. Glad to get things back on track with this thread. :D
  • Not funny! At all. Here's some good news, though, as Mr. Q himself believes Craig will return: http://nypost.com/2016/04/01/ben-whishaw-thinks-daniel-craig-will-return-as-james-bond/
