  • Happy Halloween, everyone! I took the day off work, as I always do. I have no actual plans, so I'm going to spend the day chilling on my couch and watching horror movies.

  • I've been watching horror movies almost every day to celebrate Halloween, although to be honest, I pretty much do that all year round. Just watched 1961's Curse of the Werewolf. It had both Q and Professor Dent in it!
  • Back when the Funko Pop figurines were first starting to take off, I got a Michael Myers and Freddy Krueger, and I love them. My appeal was that they took these disturbed horror characters and made them adorable. I only like the villain ones now for…
  • It's about time there's Bond Funko figures, but the Bond girl choices are pretty terrible. Not sure if I'd want any of these except maybe Moore.
  • So sad to hear about Romero. Night of the Living Dead is one of my favorite movies. RIP.
  • I'm a woman, and I'm disappointed as well. Some people think that changing a male character to female is progressive, but I just find it lazy and counter-productive. I'd rather see that time and energy put to creating a new character. Not sure if I…
  • The entire time I was thinking, "this is a pretty good episode, I hope Moffat doesn't mess it up"... and then the last 10 minutes happened. (Spoiler)
  • Creasy47 wrote: » Finally: our first full look at Pennywise the Clown in 'IT.' Looks reminiscent of an old court jester: He looks like Jack Nicholson... not sure if that makes him scarier or not. :))
  • I've never watched any of the Blair Witch movies. I probably should, being a horror fan and all, but found-footage stuff just annoys me (and sometimes makes me nauseous)
  • Info on the next season (spoilers obviously) http://www.indiewire.com/2016/07/archer-season-8-trailer-dreamland-video-dead-qa-aisha-tyler-judy-greer-1201709198/ Sounds... interesting.
  • They probably want to release it on a Friday the 13th, but the only ones next year are in January and October. ;)
  • What did everyone think about the new season? I thought it started out OK but wasn't that great towards the end. (Spoiler)

  • Not sure how it's done in the UK, but I've been to TV conventions and most celebrity autographs run between $40 to $75. I think photos are about the same.
  • bondjames wrote: » @jackdagger, he was meant to be in a little over his head. He was not playing James Bond in The Night Manager. He was playing Jonathan Pine, undercover. Richard Roper, played by Hugh Laurie, was meant to be the intimidating one.…
  • I watched the entirety of The Night Manager and I feel like I watched a completely different series than everyone else. It's hard to describe, but there's this childlike innocence in Hiddleston's eyes. He always looks like he's either about to burs…
  • Maybe the Jamie Bell thing was an intentionally leaked fake rumor, so whoever they actually do choose will seem better by comparison. :))
  • I don't know how to feel about the upcoming Halloween movie. I absolutely love the (original) series, but why another reboot? Although with Carpenter involved, hopefully they won't muck up Michael's backstory.

  • When I went to see Spectre, over half the audience was middle aged women. Which is actually pretty awesome; it shows how the Craig era has expanded the Bond audience. I feel like hiring an actor like Hiddleston, whose female fanbase seems like teena…
  • I watched the first episode. The plot seems interesting so far. I'll probably DVR the rest of the series. I am definitely not sold on Hiddleston as Bond though. At least not yet. He's like... an adorable little puppy.
  • Yeah, 20 out of 20... those were way too easy. The only one I had to second-guess myself on was the one with Connery on the phone.
  • I didn't have a lot of ammo at the end there, but I think I had some shotgun shells and a pistol. Maybe one of these days I'll dust off my PS2 and try again.
  • Seriously, I feel like such a failure. :)) If I remember correctly, you have to shoot him while he's running to the helicopter, and you have a very short window to do it in. And no matter how good my aim is, I never seem to get it right.
  • ...aaaaand now I'm reminded that I never did beat QoS on PS2. Got up until the very end and just couldn't shoot/kill Medrano no matter how many times I tried. I hate leaving games unbeaten, but it just seemed impossible.
  • That was amazing. I wish there was an actual "review" for Spectre though. My favorite line: Karl Stromberg, a man who wants to destroy the world and live under the sea like a grumpy old mermaid.
