  • I watched The King's Daughter on Friday night with a friend. We came ready to be appalled and we were NOT disappointed. I can't put it better than this review: The King’s Daughter: Pierce Brosnan’s cursed mermaid stabbing movie finally gets re…

  • Here's Little Nellie! 90s reissue of a 60s kit - she was not easy to put together. However did Q and his assistants manage it so fast? I printed some screenshots onto photo quality paper and mounted on foamboard for the backdrop.

  • Welcome! @Brofeld, I'm gonna smile every time I see your username. And @Universal_Exports83, that was a beautifully eloquent post, so no worries on that front.

  • Talking about the heat with a friend, I remembered the opening of the Tintin adventure The Shooting Star, where the approaching meteorite causes oppressive heat, tyres burst and pavements melt.

  • And booked - Charlie Higson talking Bond is always good value too. Thanks for the heads up!

  • I love the novels and the TV series carries that ethos through really well. Looking forward to the second series!
  • And another aviation one - picked up this fun sticker from the Osprey crew at an airshow at the weekend:

  • Not a Bond location but I loved touring the Pentagon because it's such a spy movie staple. Washington also has the International Spy Museum, which includes some Bond stuff, though alas it was closed when I was there.
  • Just watched it three times in a row and couldn't stop laughing.
  • One for @CommanderRoss: Dutch F-35 whose crew obviously enjoyed getting THAT serial number.
