  • Shardlake wrote: giving Richards a break is one of the best. She's always been a terrible actress She's an actress?!!! I was just staring at her butt for the most part. Much the same as Pierce, not very subtly, when she climbed up a ladder …
  • thelordflasheart wrote: My problem with DAD is the first half is such a great Bond film and the second half is such a terrible Bond film. Same with Tomorrow Never Dies. A great Bond film ruined by an incredibly dull finale.

  • Both games were Eurocom developed. It's just that EA gave them time to develop Nightfire. THere was a full 2 years between their N64 TWINE and Nightfire with only a few Gameboy Advance games in between. Whereas Activision had them release 007 Legend…
  • And now he has grenades and smoke bombs! And I have a pistol. That takes 3-4 shots to break panes of glass! I had to glitch the final section, finding a spot where Patrice couldn't shoot me through the pillar but I could shoot him.
  • Oh, and now Patrice can walk right up to me, take 3 clips in the head and kill me with one shot. This is awful game design!
  • No, funnier. Some parts are just laugh out loud bad. Some are actually quite enjoyable. Mainly Moonraker. In fact, probably only Moonraker. I've finally reached Skyfall and the Shanghai level is just terrible. Really, terrible. Patrice would seem t…
  • Just started reading through the Fleming books for the first time. Started with CR for continuity reasons and, despite it's very 50's tone, found it fascinating and addictive! I like how much time Fleming actually took with his characters and let th…

  • I only paid £15 for the download of Legends. It's probably funnier than many BluRays i could have bought for the same amount.
  • Oh well. It's in my top 5. I'd place Dr. No at the bottom. Yes, it was the first. But it's terrible to watch now. One bikini does not make a movie.
  • Quite nice if they finished Blood Stone. Bizarre Creations were given an impossible task of releasing Blood Stone and Blur at the same time. Both games, though excellent, suffered due to Activision's greed.
  • Dr. No is horribly dated nowadays. Easily my worst Bond film. Also, despite the love for OHMSS in these parts, I found it remarkably twee, far too long and, for 3/4 of it's length, utterly boring. Lazenby is also a terrible actor. And if that lot is…
  • I have to admit, I keep laughing while playing this. "Oh, I wonder how Bond will beat the next iconic bad guy? Surely not by waggling the L & R joysticks in yet another fistfight.....yup, looks like it..."
  • Have to admit to picking up Sonic & All Star Racing Transformed and thoroughly enjoying it. Only £12 on Amazon as well. Far more enjoyable than recent Mario Karts and better than LBP:Karting as well. The levels are just brilliantly realised. …
  • Same report on C&VG: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/385029/activision-pulls-bond-games-from-steam/ Are Activision dropping it, or are Sony Pictures taking it away?
  • I've managed a handful of matches from time to time. When I can get in, it's great, but I'd say I find a match only 1 night in any 5 I try. Most people also stick to a handful of modes as well. Shame, as it's my favourite of all teh current gen Bond…
  • mdo007 wrote: Crytek? The people who make Crysis? You want the next Bond game to melt PCs?! I thought everyone around here was against cloaking shields after DAD? Crytek would have Bond leaping over buildings and becoming bullet proof at …
  • My mistake, the IW engine was used on Quantum Of Solace, not the Eurocom games. Mind you, that has even worse matchmaking! Can never find anyone to play with and I only need the multiplayer trophies to achieve platinum!
  • I definitely wouldn't buy it for the multiplayer. How it can be based on the Call Of Duty engine yet be so inept online is beyond me. It's like watching a Spectrum game at times, with the framerate getting jerky and the animation stuttering so badly…
  • Well, gave in and bought in cheap on PSN and *whisper* I didn't think it was that bad. OK, it completely mangles the plot of every movie it touches, but Star Wars games have been doing that for years and getting away with it based on nostalgia for p…
  • QoS, for the PTS alone. Aston porn and not a rickety DB5 in sight (sorry, but the DBS is just better in every way).
  • I'm another Lazenby! 1970. Just to update the past page: CONNERY - 5 LAZENBY- 4 MOORE - 35 DALTON - 24 BROSNAN - 11 CRAIG- 0
  • David Niven, in a Casino Royale reimagining made by Activision. I can just see Sir David offing the bad guys with head shots while calling in a Napalm strike.
  • This is reduced on PSN if anyone wants it. I think it was £19.99 for regular users and £15.99 for PS Plus.
  • Have to say, I tried to play Goldeneye on an N64 emulator recently and was shocked at how badly it's aged. I gave up halfway through.
  • I don't mind GE: Reloaded. But I never play it thinking of it as Goldeneye. Wrong Bond, wrong script, wrong areas. It's a middling FPS with a faint Bond theme. 007 Legends seems to be a poor FPS with a strong Bond theme. I'd rather have GE.
