  • There's someone called Sergeant Stagg in the cast list of The Living Daylights. Can't think where he fits in in the movie, but the name fits a couple of the clues...
  • Is it Plenty, Plenty O'Toole? I'm hanging it all on the first clue - as in "Bounty (now called Plenty), the stronger soaker-upper". Tenuous? Not compared the last round's clues I think.
  • Is it the bloke off of The Man With The Golden Gun who looks after the island power plant ?
  • Better break step lads, remember we're in Los Angeles.
  • Ms Brandt off of You Only Live Twice?

  • 1. Needs to have some real world glamour. 2. Needs to avoid yet another disappointing 'third-act'. Maybe have a two parter with a cliffhanger at the end of first film. 3. David Arnold to do the score and not let some dozy music supervisor cut it t…
  • Nice tune. And additional kudos since Bill Conti is big on recycling...
  • It's the copy of the film. If you download some TV you'll see it plays 16:9 (or 4:3 if it's ancient) You can resize your VLC viewer window of course (not when you're in full-screen though obviously) and then you'll see black bars top/bottom or si…
  • VLC typically plays files at their native aspect ratio. So you may be watching a movie that was cropped by the uploader. Otherwise, click on VLC's 'video' menu and under 'Aspect Ratio' and 'Crop' and choose the Default setting in both cases.
  • It wasn't completely unscathed - but yes, it survived against all the odds. True to its symbolism.
  • The Happening. It's the only movie I've seen where I can remember feeling actual anger and resentment. A film with no discernible plot or reason for existing. My ire extends to everyone concerned - the filmmakers, distributors, cinema owners - ev…
  • I was at a press do for Licence to Kill at the Roof Gardens in Kensington - bit of a blag to be honest and was slightly overwhelmed at first. But free Bollinger on tap loosened my tongue just enough to break the ice. I'd love to say I had lengthy in…

  • Thanks for this. Heartened to know the material exists, but saddened that whether or not we ever get to hear it is in the hands of accountants. And now it's all but impossible to make any money on a CD I suppose those tapes will never see the lig…
  • From Moore onwards. Wish I'd been around in the sixties - saw some great pics of the Connery era premieres at the Odeon Leicester Sq. They had proper glamour in those days.
  • Hope they keep a decent budget for locations in this new series. One of my pet hates in Dr Who is when they try and make out that Cardiff is London by sticking a tube sign and a double-decker in the shot.
