  • This is another reason why I think EON need to, and should, keep James Bond, because I feel in other hands, the franchise would become another "victim" to the current state of franchise filmmaking.

  • I think Jarin Blaschke is worth mentioning. If you don't already know, he's the cinematographer most known for working with Robert Eggers (The Witch, The Lighthouse, The Northman, and the upcoming Nosferatu).

  • Love Slow Horses. I really enjoyed this latest season, and thought the finale was brilliant.

  • I do think it's possible, and this isn't anyone particular, to rely on that formula too much. I understand that EON will want to see what these actors can do so they can devise who they want in the room, but the difference is they'll get to be in th…

  • It's also worth noting that pre-production on Casino Royale began with them having a James Bond actor in negotiations to return, with Neal Purvis and Robert Wade even writing a draft for Pierce Brosnan, until they decided it would be better for the …
  • I mean personally I can understand wanting to see Nolan direct a James Bond, but I don't really understand why that not being that case would be so negative as to plummet your interest? Bond 26's success doesn't depend on him? There's so many direct…

  • Well, in my opinion, the answer is simple. There needs to be a fine line, with everything that some here feel will be lost and whether he should be a role model. More specifically, I don’t think people are saying he needs to treat all women with …
  • Raoul Silva, just for his taste in music. Trevelyan would just prank me and pretend to be dead.
  • Yeah, clean slate. For the same reasons stated above. I personally don't think Judi Dench's return was awkward at all, although I was only ten when Casino Royale came out. I do think now with social media and the internet in general being what it…
  • That's the key, I mentioned this in my previous post but the dynamic between Moneypenny and Bond doesn't have to change, there can still be that flirty, sexual tension but it's just that they need to make sure she serves a purpose beyond that just a…
  • As others have mentioned before, myself included, it would be more beneficial to the MI6 regulars and the story itself, to do away with Bill Tanner this time round, especially for a character like Moneypenny, who could easily fill the role and audie…
  • I suppose, given that Bill Tanner could be seen as a "male Moneypenny", I'm more inclined to say a female Q because we haven't seen that before outside of the continuation novels. I also feel like a female Q wouldn't change the dynamic as much, w…
