It may be true, as some people have said, that "James Bond" shouldn't be in the title because the films should be mission-oriented, but keep in mind that Gardner used his name in one of his titles, No Deals, Mr. Bond.

Good point about the notion of trying to stop/hurt/kill the other person. A chase really is one party trying to capture or kill the other, and that should be a major part of the definition.
