I think visiting Vesper grave (about what there are meny speculations) will be much better fit not for beginning, but for end of the film as a symbol of start of new life for Bond by paying tribute to his old inner demons from previous life.

I dont think that killing Madeleine is a good idea (but it can be well executed in film). Her character is very similar to Bond as she is alone in this world and connecting this two people represents in some way new beginning for James. Killing Made…
