  • It’s a compromise. At the end of the day Barbara’s job is to produce a movie. The title is massively important to the studio as they have the marketing vultures breathing down their necks. One or the other can put forward their case if they feel it’…
  • P&W do a job others wouldn’t, because they aren’t precious. And while that may not mean they’re turning in absolute gold (something completely subjective anyway) they do help get a film moving, which is not to be underestimated.

  • From what I’ve heard (some of which I can’t disclose) my instinct is that this may hit the marks many were hoping SP would. That sweet spot between Craig’s earlier films and the more ‘traditional’, as the general viewing public would term it. I’m ta…
  • I may have misread, I’ve been very busy and haven’t paid as much attention to news as I would normally, but wasn’t the phrase that was used ‘Genetic Warfare’? I’m no scientist, but it doesn’t immediately lead me to ‘cloning’. I always thought it …

  • I’m still not convinced it’s a young Madeleine. Firstly, Malek was on set in Norway and I have trouble reconciling him being in a flashback. Plus, weren’t there reports of a child’s toy(s) being in the rear seat of the V8? Social media channels a…

  • MR is a unique masterpiece.
  • Muddyw wrote: » There should not be any title with the word "Die" anymore! I like "Commander Jamaica", as someone already mentioned, but that would only work, I think, when a large part of the movie would take place on Jamaica. For Special S…

  • It seems pretty clear to me that Lynch will have a significantly larger role in this movie than De Armas - so, yes, ‘main’ girl so to speak. When they announced PWB’s involvement I’m pretty sure the catalyst was this role and that it’s where she’s d…
  • fjdinardo wrote: » Craigs injury will limit his stunts. Dont forget in AVTAK Moore had a stunt man for everything and they made it work. They can make it work here Bit trickier to conceal in this day and age, but I’m optimistic regardless.
  • The ST teaser is magnificent.
  • This film is going to be an Aston-fest.
  • Fukunaga isn’t going anywhere.
  • PanchitoPistoles wrote: » LOVE the Living Daylights Aston! The DB5 is played out, and the Aston Martin V8 Vantage might be the coolest Aston right now. In fact, it's so cool, it screams Fukunaga. I am confident this was a 100% Cary Fukunaga choice…
  • Very difficult to rank. Would probably go with @barryt007 and @Torgeirtrap and have Gourmet Night up top. Big fan of Kipper and the Corpse, though, too. Do you agree with it being the best British Comedy, @barryt007? In terms of consistency it’s …
