Doing away with Blofeld in a new pts would be rather the opposite of that brazen statement from FYEO, it would be a gesture of defeat, of not being able to use their best asset after waiting so long for the rights to use him.
than for Johnny English Strikes Back Again, @BMW_with_missiles.
Again - not what I said. I talked about DCs personal Bond history, but since you are a hater, you know nothing about it or choose to ignore it. So, I ask you to simply stay away from statements that show this ignorance. Easy enough, Id think.
Same. Here.
And I am getting tired of having to endure the same silly bitching without being allowed to answerr to them - straightforward, without drssing it up nicely. See it like this - I sm here for 10 years something, longer then most of you. I am the old Lady sitting in the room full of people. She is old enough to not feel the need anymore to be polite, where there is no reason, to be. She sees them, as they are and adresses them accordingly. Bless old age. So - you two, Bird snd Jake, think about what bitching you allow and which not. Try to be fair maybe, too. This old lady wont change anymore and lucky enough, she is not saying a lot these Days. But silly bitching she will adress and there is no reason to not allow it.
Really like what we've seen from JE so far. No doubt there's some nice production design there!
Boyle’s films often have plenty of humour. Not sure why you imagine a Boyle Bond wouldn’t be fun.
Yeah the Trainspotting movies are miles funnier than either of the first two Johnny English films. I guess if by fun you mean fairly lightweight and escapist then fair enough, Boyle and Craig will probably want to do some gritty character stuff. But I'm sure there'll be plenty of humour, and I think SF and SP had just the right amount anyway.
To be fair though even though they're far from his best work, I do like the Johnny English films. Silly guilty pleasure movies. I'll definitely watch the third one at some point.

That mean Sony released the movie in the cinema and on DVD and Bluray. Sony classical will do the soundtrack. Whyle Danny Boyle has made a lot of movies for Fox, Trainspotting 1 & 2 are Sony movies.
Rowan Atkinson will never better his work in Blackadders 2,3 and 4 (1 is rubbish). I remember seeing Bean for the first time in the mid/late 90s and thinking ‘what is this garbage’. Clearly I was wrong on a commercial level as he’s made an insane amount of money on the back of Bean but it is sad to think how great he was as Edmund and then what came after.
Another thing to keep in mind is a potential deal takes at least 6 months to work through. It's a complicated process from announcement to 'close' and could have implications. So hopefully it's not something that happens too soon.
Maybe Sony's Home Entertainment unit learned from its mistakes and not mess up with MGMs library this time.... That was one of the reasons they left for Fox in 06, along with greedy executives.
Although I can see a possible scenario that Sony makes a deal with Paramount or Fox to distribute their own films on DVD and Blu Ray because they have been on a losing streak in the terms of revenue and talks of a sale for themselves. Imagine a Spider Man DVD with the Fox logo on the back... I could see that happening
Yes the writing is brilliant on the Third. But 2 and 4 are also excellent. Hard to choose.
Ben Elton saved it basically. He wasn’t involved in the First - I think Curtis wrote that on his own.
Wonder what kind of Bond film Curtis would write... whether he could turn his hand to something thrillerish but work in some romance and comedy.
I think Atkinson himself was involved in writing the first as well, but didn't contribute - at least not officially - to the rest. Or so I recall.
Disney better not put it's dirty paws on MGM or Bond. I could see Comcast trying to buy MGM to rival Fox/Disney
