Are we talking about the character or the actor?
    Either way, I'll pick Connery.

I was referring to the character this time, but you can be the actor if you wish. Everything goes here, it is a free thread.

Would have choose Connery but as I can't swim..

Plus Sir Rog has the delectable and delightful company of Jane, Carole and Emily Bolton.

Nobody wants to be Barry, David, George, Timothy or Daniel. They are all utter failures as James Bond. Roger Moore wins this one easily, and is therefore the ultimate 007.

    New one:

Which Bond would you rather see as a Bond villain?

    Barry Nelson-
    Sean Connery-
    David Niven-
    George Lazenby-
    Roger Moore-
    Timothy Dalton-

This is a tough one. I was caught between Moore or Brosnan. Both have impressed me in these 'out of character' roles. I'm going with Moore, perhaps controversially, because I love his turn as the evil Pelham in The Man Who Haunted Himself.

I'd also like to see Brosnan as a villain.

Tim is great villain material! I would love to see that actually!
  • Timothy was already a villain in LTK, so Tim for me.

Daniel Craig as 007's long lost twin.

The evil twin. See, Mr Mendes? There is more you can do with Bond.

Purvis & Wade have just hijacked that idea! We'll now find out that Oberhauser's Blofeld was just a decoy, and that Bond's long lost twin is the real Blofeld who also has father/brother issues.

Sounds like a Brosnan-plot to me. The true villain of course beeing David Niven. Stylish, and a bit out-of-this-world.

And, as per @Mendes4Lyfe's theory, Bond 25 will reveal that Craig in SP was Bond's brother, as Craig Bond from CR-SF caught a bullet in the face and was thrown out of a van on the motorway by Fiennes's M. With further reveal that Whishaw's Q is new Bond, who is actually the brother of non-Bond Craig, who has been waiting since SF to see Craig Bond die so he can be mind wiped to be the new 007.

    Mind Blown, @DaltonCraig007! =))

It'll make hell of a Monty Python movie channeling this codename 007 theory.

Timothy Dalton narrowly wins this. He will be the nefarious Mr Goldprickpants in the eponymous next film. Nelson, Connery and Lazenby are all clearly too nice to play villains, no menace there.

    Next question:

Which Bond would you rather see as a sheriff in your town?

    Barry Nelson-
    Sean Connery-
    David Niven-1
    George Lazenby-
    Roger Moore-

Lazenby would be the best sheriff, but I am afraid he would kick my ass.

Dalton. He has a certain gravitas and authority to him (especially when ticked off) which could cause peeps to fall in line quick.

In my town? It had better be Brosnan. He's going to need all the machine guns he can get.

Well, after seeing Rog in his Western gear in MR, I'd have to go with him...
