First off, it's my favorite Moore film, so I should say Moore, but then agian that's too obvious now. So I'll go with Niven. Haven't got a clue how it would work out but he's the only one who could get a bit close to Roger.

Lazenby, Dalton and Craig are all wrong for LALD. In fact, Moore is so perfect in it, he wins this round.

After a request from @CommanderRoss Geller, let s take a break from the films for the next days. He wonders:

Which Bond would you rather see lead England after the Brexit?

Who is the most brexist dinosaur?

I think a natural confidence & swagger will be a key to leading a nation fending for itself post-Brexit. A don't give a 'f' attitude in deed and manner. No one encapsulates that better than Laz. So he's my choice, despite him being a commonwealth subject.

And I think it must be an Englishman, an experienced one.

As a Dutchman, Craig's version would be too scary, killing everyone before they even could say 'it wasn't me', so he's out. Lazers' would sleep around and finally try marrying the best girl in town, so that might not work internationally. Roger Moore's is likeable, but fights when he has to. Brosnan's version over acts a bit, but is fairly good at international negotiations. Niven's Bond is basically a stoner. And Sean's Bond is tough yet always trying to understand foreigners.

So I'll go with the latter, Conner's Bond.

That's quite a reasoning here, Commander!

Sean Connery will take over after David Cameron. Dalton and Craig weren t even considered. Sounds about right.

Actually I'd love to see Craig in this film. Only thing is I think he'd have killed scaramanga way earlier in the film...

Although, I wonder how would Connery's Bond would fared against Peter Wynegarde's Scaramanga...

One of his best performances - pitch perfect arrogance and charm combined beautifully.

If not Sir Roger, I think Craig would have been perfect for a story going up
    against the world's greatest assassin.
  • Sean Connery... it may have been more tonally balanced with him in it. Maybe...
