Hmm... I think I'd also like to see Craig in this.

Craig. It would be interesting to see how "serious Bond" would deal with such an over-the-top film.

Hate to be predictable but Craig for me too. That would be fascinating.

Quite astonished by the last result. Sean would want to go for an independent Scotland. :))

Anyway, I want Timothy Dalton opposite Christopher Lee in TMWTGG.

Which Bond would you rather see in THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN?[/quote]

    Sean Connery-1
    Roger Moore-2
    Timothy Dalton-1
    Pierce Brosnan-2
    Daniel Craig-6

Added my own vote for Brosnan. This is a film that would suit his style.

No mention of Lazenby is strange, what with his kung fu skills.

Daniel Craig is the surprising choice to play Bond in TMWTGG, and not a single vote for Lazenby!

Pierce Brosnan. He's a bit more tough, which would help with the battle against Jaws, and his painface would for once be convincing :-P

Brosnan sort of did a Spy in the video game Nightfire. ;)

I have to say I'm quite surprised (and slightly disappointed) in the suggestions so far from members for this question.

    TSWLM = Roger Moore.

    Accept no substitutes.
  • I cannot imagine any other Bond fighting off with Jaws unfortunately... I must say Roger Moore.

Still going with Moore for this one.

    Roger Moore-3
    Timothy Dalton-2
    Pierce Brosnan-5

What a scandal! Added my own vote to Dalton. TSWLM would have been a great intro for him.

With half of the votes, Brosnan is hereby cast as Bond in TSWLM. Not a single vote for Connery, Lazenby or Craig.

Given the light-hearted tone of MR, I'd go for Pierce Brosnan.

Yes, I'd go with Brosnan for MR, if I had to pick an alternative (although I don't think anyone could have pulled that one off as well as Moore did).

You don t have to pick an alternative. If you think Moore is the only one, you can vote for him.

I haven't picked Brosnan for anything yet, and probably won't going forward, so Brosnan it is for MR.

I think only Moore could have done this one.

    Roger Moore-1
    Timothy Dalton-1
    Pierce Brosnan-3

Connery. At least the 'a woman'line wouldn't be out of place, which it would with the other actors except for Lazenby, who'd answer with 'coming here was an ispiration, and so are you'.... Which wouldn't work in the film.
