    Waltz is perfect as Oberhauser.

But ok, let's say good ole Telly should play it.

Chris Walken. He and Craig could be the blonde bros.

Mr. White should have been Blofeld; mr. White being a code name only
  • I agree, Jesper Christensen's Mr. White would have been the perfect and natural choice for Blofeld.

But for Blofeld as we have him in Spectre—Franz Oberhauser Blofeld—I must elect Klaus Maria Brandauer once again. Petulant, giggly, mood-swinging, psychotic to the max, endlessly watchable. If there's anyone who could have convincingly pulled off the brother angle, it would have been Brandauer. And if there's anyone I might have thought would have been able to equal Brandauer's Largo today, it would have been Waltz circa Inglorious Basterds. Go figure.

Alternatively, for a completely differently imagined Blofeld who is not Christensen's Mr. White: Charles Dance. I'd love to see him as a Bond villain someday. Irony is, he'd make such a terrific cold and cruel Blofeld I'd hate to see him "wasted" on a one-off.

So three votes each for Christensen and Lonsdale as Blofeld.Interesting.

Savalas, Walken and Brandauer have also been mentioned. Others?

Maybe we can do the Bond girls later, but I think I want to stick with the villains a while longer, casting them in various other parts perhaps.

    Both interesting suggestions.

    My own choice: Mathieu Amalric.

Anyone else want to chime in?

Which Bond villain actor would you rather see as Dracula?

Lee and Jourdan both played the part.
  • Mads Mikkelson looks like he was born to play a vampire.

I've just realized Mads Mikkelson is pretty much my go-to answer for anything villain-related. Dude does evil well.

    Wiseman is a good suggestion.
I've just realized Mads Mikkelson is pretty much my go-to answer for anything villain-related. Dude does evil well.
And yet he was first known for his sympathetic character. I first saw him in a Danish tv series where he played a psychic policeman.

The mark of a great actor: one who can disappear into his roles.

Jeroen Krabbe in Dracula: Dead And Loving It: Part Deux :))

He'd be a very funny Dracula if he plays it in the style of Georgi Koskov.

Otherwise, Christopher Walken would have been nice, with Sean Bean as Van Helsing.

I would have thought this one would be quite obvious. Richard Kiel of course, circa TSWLM Egypt version.

If he's not eligible, then I'd go for 'Mr. Hannibal', Mads Mikkelson as well.
