    Ditto
  • Diana Rigg. Both Tracy and Octopussy are more complex Bond girls, so it would definitely be interesting in an alternate universe.
  • Definitely agree on Bellucci.

Honor Blackman. I could see her commanding enough respect to lead a cult of women.

Good point. Octopussy runs a circus, Pussy Galore a flying circus.

I was actually thinking that myself. I agree.

Caroline Munro as Octavia Charlotte Smythe a.k.a. Octopussy.

It would've been nice to see her play a primary Bond girl.

Not sure if it is because she is the titular character, but I can t see anyone but Maud Adams as Octopussy.

Monica Belucci wins this, with Honor Blackman and Sophie Marceau right behind.

    On to the next film.

Which Bond girl actress would you rather see as Stacey Sutton in AVTAK?

Izabella Scorupco. Stacey was a pretty decent character in my view. It just needed an actress with a little more varied capabilities.

    Priscilla Barnes as Stacey Sutton

    Barbara Bach as Pola Ivanova

and if we were casting Mary Ann Russell, the Bond girl from Ian Fleming's From A View To A Kill short story, then I would cast Alison Doody in the role of Miss Russell

Now we're talking. Rog wouldn't have had to bake the quiche in this case, or tuck her in. They could have just gone for it.

@Birdleson nails it again-- she's age appropriate after all! Count me in for Dame Judi as well, please...!!

@peter, it wasn't my intention to frighten you, but keep in mind that although a bit on the frumpy & dowdy side, Dench was a little more appealing in the 1980s.

Oh, I realize that, @bondjames; my problem is that I can't help but see our lovely Dame as she is now, in that final, and wrinkly, scene with Sir Rog. That's some heavy duty trauma right there.

I suppose Monica Belluci. Perhaps not a credible geologist (no change there) but certainly more age appropriate. I could see Moore having good chemistry with her too.

I was mainly thinking in terms of the closing shower scene.
Desmond Llewelyn spying on Roger Moore and Judi Dench in the shower? That'll draw in the crowds!
