"I feel like an idiot. I don't know vaat to say..."
You are hereby invited to dinner. The main course will be Pierce Brosnan with potatoes and a light salad. Daniel Craig for desert. (Time to recast now). I have already chewed Niven s bones, so nothing left there. The others are clearly tasteless.
You should have seen the other suggestions @CommanderRoss made. I will make up my own question this time:
Which Bond would you rather have as Galactic Ambassador from Planet Earth?
Barry Nelson-
Sean Connery-
David Niven-
George Lazenby-
Roger Moore-
Timothy Dalton-
Pierce Brosnan-
Daniel Craig-

Certainly not Daniel Craig. He'll probably say something silly during discussions like wanting to slit something or rather and start an unintentional intergalactic brouhaha.
No, in this case, it will have to be Roger Moore. Difficult not to like Sir Rog, and that is a key attribute of a diplomat imho.
Rog would seem like the natural choice here, but other intelligent non-terra species might find his impenetrable niceness grating, and once Rog discovers the way they treat geese on other planets, it's all over for negotiations.
I'm going to say Timothy Dalton here. He comes across as intelligent, educated, well-spoken, and diplomatic, but perhaps most importantly he sounds honest, genuine, and level-headed, all of which are key to getting others to hear you out and seriously consider your point-of-view.
As Niv hasn't had a vote yet, I'm going to go with him.
Yeah, this. Brosnan could work as well, but Moore is my primary choice, since he comes off as more esteemed and diplomatic.

Connery and Craig both need to be locked away before the aliens see or hear them.

Solitare-Goodnight-XXX-Goodhead-Melina-Octopussy-Stacy. And that's only the main course in every film :))
Hands down. By far had the most fun and the craziest adventures, with the best babes (imho).
A: balls smashed
B: brain drilled
C: the most horrid of all: Silva's hands on Bond's legs.
Self-assured, stylish and sophisticated. Exotic adventures in the sixties and the DB5. Also Ursula Andress, Claudine Auger, Daniela Bianchi, Eunice Gayson and the lovely Luciana Paluzzi.
Smoking without getting ill, drinking without getting drunk and the most beautiful Savile Row attire.
Pierce Brosnan. ;)
