Nothing unrealistic about a 2019 release. Even a late 2018 release is entirely possible, albeit not very likely. An unrelated question: what is the title of that big Bond book that can be seen on the pics you posted earlier on this page?

2018 is not impossible even if the rumor of the Purvis Wade and knight being rejected is true I still say the three could develop a script that will be approved by say February which will then mean either MGM will support 007 itself is r turn to an outside production company (Sony and WB tend to be the most obvious but I wouldn't be shocked if Disney did buy it sure I would be upset but not surprised) which will likely be decided by march then of course director and principal cast organized /confirmed through out the spring and summertime locations confirmed though out the fall and title announced in December (which if Mendes comes back Bond 25 is Shatterhand trust me) and there it is

I'm saying 2019, but like @Crazysoul95, I'm hoping for a release next year.

2019 as well. It's unfathomable for me to imagine filming being underway in a years' time, but there's a lot that can happen between now and then. Of course, if DC decides to leave we could be looking at 2020 or 2021.

I'd like to assume we'd get some 'Bond 25' news this year, but then again, 2016 flew by without a bit of confirmation, so I won't be shocked if this year delivers the same outcome. Time will tell, though, I'm in no rush.

I hope November 2019. Like it's the tradition for Bond films these days.

It's called BOND BY DESIGN it's over 300 pages and comes in hard sleeve with beautiful design as you can see below. I already posted those and more pics in another thread a year ago I think.
From DN to SP you get design studies from all the films.
It's one of three books I call my favourites, the others would be James Bond Cars and The James Bond Archives (Spectre edition).
They are really well done and incredible amount of work has been put in those books.

  • 2018 I see as an unlikely given the current lethargy around Bond, and I don't think EON would let it go so far as 2020.

So, 44% of us are optimistic, 41% of us are realistic, and 15% of us are pessimistic.

Yes, but you have to factor in the damned Electoral College.

I'm kind of surprised that 2018 got so many votes. I thought 2019 would be the leader far and away.

Optimistically for me 2018. Very doable even at this point. Realistically, 2018 with Craig, 2019 without. Pessimistically, sometime released during the 2020's, and being the only Bond of that decade, therefore the final Eon produced Bond film.
