I liked "Welcome to Scotland!" the best.

I do like Silva's face when the helicopter crashes into Skyfall though. It's coming up. I also enjoy his repartee with Bond out by the lake. "All this running around".

Bond's face when his Aston gets blown is a classic too and Newman nails the score.

    Aston blown up. Craig's sneer!

I love that finale, unlike most here. It’s a favorite of mine. “Are you getting warm?!”

I do think they could have done the copter crash better!

You are a fussy bugger tonight !

On the moors. This is better. Bonds jumping kick to the thug and the run across the ice with Newmans score!

One of the great scenes imho. Deakin's digital photography comes into its own during that explosion.

Haha. Just think if it was shot from the inside!

My favourite scene is coming up. I'd like your thoughts.

    I'm referring to Silva's death.

    Silva and M. Good.
But after such a build up.. Just to get a knife in the back! Was really expecting a fight between him and Bond.

What do you think of the look he gives Bond? Classic I say.

I love the whole darn thing. Especially Bond quipping “Last rat standing.” And I cried when I first saw M die.

He should of course have cut his head off and put it on a stick.

I must admit that for all the build up,a simple knife in the back was underwhelming for me.

M death. After loving her portrayal of M with Craig in CR and QOS. I just didn't like her in SF!

Well she really f****ed this up didnt she ? ;)

After the house blows up, with the starless, dark sky and the raging fire in the vicinity, it really looks like the characters have gone to hell. Great stuff.

I still don't quite buy Bond crying. I get where they are coming from, but I'm ambivalent about it working.

Final scene with Fiennes as M. Office impresses. Bloody Harris AGAIN!
All in all same things I like as before and most I don't. Just doesn't feel Bond enough for me!
    Not with pleasure M!

Hopefully in a more restrained & dignified manner than Bond did.

I agree. I love the whole finale actually. It's really well done. Best Bond finale since GE.

Works for me. I cried. Dench’s M had been an amazing staple for the series for a long time. And she was the one parent figure Bond really had after the death of his parents.

Mendes got what he wanted then. Tugging at the strings.

At least he gained a Brofeld in the next film to make up for it...meh .....

    Brofeld... ha.

SF earns the emotional impact so much more than SP ever does. SP shouldn’t have even tried it.

    That I agree with.
