Alright folks, go refresh your drinks, get some dinner, late night snack, breakfast depending on where in the world you are.

I unfortunately will not be able to join for TB, but I will check in and read everyone's commentary when I get back home.

Anyone up for another group viewing next weekend? Could be good timing right before the XMas holiday and people hopefully off work.

I rank it pretty high and usually tie it with OP. In spite of several unintentionally funny scenes, I find NSNA very solid.

Yeah that was a lot of fun, apologies for not getting to stick around for TB, as well.

@MooseWithFleas, sure thing. If one hadn't already been done for OHMSS, I'd suggest a OHMSS/TWINE double bill for next weekend, just for the fitting Christmas motif. We'll get something figured out.

@Creasy47 @MooseWithFleas Sorry you all can’t stay. Glad to have had you for the first feature still!

TB is about to dethrone QOS form the top spot for the first time in almost a year on the Bond Meter list.

It will be well-earned. No disrespect to QoS - a good Bond film, but TB is flipping amazing and super rewatchable like Connery’s first 3.

TB is always a top 5 favorite for me. Number one at the moment. Maybe it will stay there after tonight.

I think it might surpass GE and TSWLM in my ranking.

Had to use my old DVD this time. Apparently Prime doesn’t include TB even though it includes most Bond films -_-

Damn. I think the sound on the early SE DVD was superior. I think the sound sucks on the Blu-ray.

    It’s been a while since I watched my Blu-Ray.

Really enjoy this PTS. It isn’t the greatest but still very entertaining.

Great fight scene here. Great score. Damn I miss John Barry.

Peak Connery is a joy to watch. It's all in the attitude. Smooth, but can still break you.

For me, this is Barry’s second best effort right behind OHMSS.

    Is this song about Largo?
This was my first Bond film, so it carries a lot of memories. My friend and I flipped a coin to choose what my first one would be, since he was the Bond fan first and got me into the series. I chose TB, and I think he chose GE, and it ended up being TB (can’t remember if I was Heads or Tails though).

I think it could be either Largo or Bond.

I love this fight. Great use of props-- chairs, curtains, pokers. And the music. The closing phrase played by horns and later by trumpets was repeated in the house fight in AVTAK, years later.

GF is more famous, but I think TB is the song whose style is most imitated in musical parodies of Bond.

I first saw this truncated on ABC and still loved it. The next month NSNA came out.

I really got into this film in '89 when the Bonds were re-issued on VHS and new transfers came out. This one in particular looked great on that Connery Classics edition.
