That's the first time I've tasted women. They're rather good.

Great line only Connery could deliver.

    Claudine looks great here.

I prefer Connery's method of breaking the bad news here to what he pulled in NSNA.

Vargas about to get it, thinking he had it in the bag.

I think both scenes are terrific, myself.

In NSNA it's kind of unintentionally funny, but here it's more dramatic.

    Very dreamy score here.

    The love scene? Agreed.

Barry had a go at underwater stuff again in The Deep but couldn't surpass his work here, in my opinion.

Next to DN, that is probably my single favorite beach sequence in the series.

I wish Terrence Young had directed more Bond films.

That's a huge pill to take without water.

Yes, that bit. It's really good. I forgot that Barry did the score for The Deep. I have that film and have only seen it once a long time back. I must get to it again.

Great blend of TB and Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang in the beach scene. Never paid it much attention before.

I think this will remain my number one Bond film for awhile. It's epic, but not too over the top.
This one really has a great balance.

After this viewing TB is going back up to my #2 slot. It had declined quite a bit upon my last viewing after holding firm at 2 for almost a decade. That was silly of me.

It’s going to be higher than it was before this viewing. Anywhere from 7 to 3...

I'm not into ranking the films, but Tb is going up in appreciation for me.

My Cousin and I saw it over 10 times in the theatre. 50 cent matinees and we'd stay all day.

I watched it once and liked it. Been meaning to revisit it since. One of these days...

It was a big hit from what I've read.

I remember some great underwater scenes, and of course Bissett.

These yacht cabin scenes in TB remind me of LTK with Lupe.

Largo’s best bit here IMO, torturing Domino. His menace shines here.

This film always makes me want to go somewhere sunny. It has a vacation flavour. Saving the world is a bonus.

I'd forgotten Bond has to swim quite a bit to emerge from the water in the Golden Grotto.

If I was suddenly thrown into this line of work, I’d probably be useless too.

I get the point regarding Felix and the women, but what did Pinder do wrong?

    007 Theme! Sorely missed.

I really love the underwater battle climax.

Personally I love this finale. The epic underwater fight is neat, and the frantic Disco Volante brawl is fun too.

Love the underwater crunching and cracking sound effects interspersed with Barry's suspense score.

I enjoy the sound effects too.

Bond's participation in this battle reminds me of the FRWL gypsy camp scene. Varied stuff.

Largo gives Bond a thrashing here.

This makes Bourne seem like Steadicam!
